Welcome one and all to our handy dandy 3-1 memeapalooza: Friending, Plotting, and CRing!

We haven’t done one of these in a hot minute so we’re long overdue. If there is a section you’re not up for just delete it from the form below. If the form doesn’t contain all the grandeur of your RPing needs then just add stuff! It’s that easy. You won’t be fined or anything. Unless it turns out I have the power to fine you in which case, I’m living large on meme fines! And of course tailor it however it feels right if you are a person of many characters!

Keith | Voltron: Legendary Defender

Character Name: Keith
Canon: Voltron: Legendary Defender
Age and species: Around 21/22, Half Human/Half Galra
Ship and augment: Huntress, Pilot
Brief description: Quiet serious type, loves to fly and go fast, melee fighter that prefers swords as weapons, oddly sensitive to quintessence (life force), has loosened up significantly since start of canon, has also managed to get something of a lid on his temper and anger issues (but not 100%... so he might still blow up in your face about something), fiercely loyal and protective of those he cares about, but has issues getting close due to a fear of loss

Points of interest this month: Keith just lost Shiro and Pidge this month, and he's feeling it. Shiro is the closest he has to a brother, and, for a long time, was the only person he considered family. Losing him hurts... a lot. Pidge had become something of a little sister for him, so he's pretty upset about that, too. He'll be looking for distractions this month, and this planet is perfect. Fandom likes to play around with the idea that Keith is an obsessive cryptid hunter. I don't go with obsessive, but I can see him take an interest in it, especially because he's looking for something to get his mind off things.

The usual routine: Keith is pretty dedicated to his pilot job. He takes his job seriously. He also makes sure to stay in shape and keep his skills sharp, so he can be found in the gym or the obstacle course, working out and practicing. He's not a big fan of downtime, so he rarely relaxes, but, when he does, he likes to draw. He can also be found fairly often at the Melting Pot for dinner or hanging out with Lance in various places around the Fleet (like the pool, or their friends' ships, or the Lion's Den space Team Voltron took over on the Iskaulit).

Looking for: Keith needs friends, but I'm also open to negative CR. I like the challenge. So, bring it on. ^_^ Show him how to relax, or poke at his temper. I'm open to plotting! He's also not very good at games that require patience... so, board games are okay, but the ones that need effort to stick with it can get him riled up (though not as badly as he used to get).

Handwaved CR: I'm always up for handwaving regular training sessions. Keith doesn't mind sharing his skills, so he's open to training people how to fight if they want to learn. Also, I'm open to him learning from others with regular lessons. He's interested in a lot of things. I don't know that he's close enough to a whole lot of people that he would share his drawings outside of a small circle of friends, but I'm open to expanding that circle if people want CR like that with him.

Keith respects Kaname and probably has something of a crush on her, but timing has it that they're both seeing other people, so he's happy being friends with her. He'd rather be friends than nothing at all. He has trouble seeing it when other people care about him, but he cares about her, and he appreciates her willingness to listen, even if he still thinks she'd rather be anywhere else than listening to his issues.

Once they got past their misconceptions about each other, things moved fast. When Keith lets himself care about someone, he falls hard and fast into the relationship. It's the getting to the "letting himself" part that's hard. But, he did it. Now, he's afraid of losing it, because that's just what his life is. He's quick to believe that people are ready to turn on him and abandon him, and he knows what he's going home to if Atroma ever ships them out. Also, after having people from home randomly disappear, especially with Shiro having disappeared, he's scared of everyone from home leaving and getting stuck behind alone... especially Lance. It took a lot for him to get to this point, a lot of risk, a lot of courage, and he's so afraid of being hurt again. He's quiet about it, trying really hard not to think about it, but there is a lot of cuddling at night, when those thoughts invade his head and he can't keep them out. Though, even without meeting Shiro, Kosmo has gotten into the early morning routine of running on the Iskaulit now, so... sorry, Lance. Not a lot of late mornings still, even if Keith isn't really a morning person by choice.

They have their serious and romantic moments of being quiet together... cuddling, enjoying each other company. There are of course sexy times because Lance is one giant walking hormone. Keith not quite as much, but he's got a fairly healthy libido. He's also just generally quieter about it, too. And then there's the goofing off and "Most Competitive Couple" award.

Prompto's like Lance, but not Lance. Keith isn't sure how he ended up in a Fleet with two extra Lance's for a while, but... okay. Still, oddly enough, like Kaname, he could see himself having a bit more with Prompto if things had worked out differently on timing as far as the whole dating other people thing (plus, the two people he has a crush on are with each other???? So, it's kind of like... he'll just be happy they're happy and not think about it too hard). He sees Prompto as a good friend, and appreciates his enthusiasm and ability to lighten a mood.

And I definitely want to do something! I saw you posted a top level on the mingle. Cryptid hunting? :D Keith could use the distraction.

Brief description: Minako is an excitable teen who crushes easily on hot guys. Transforms into a magical girl when she has her wand (which she doesn't at the moment). She will try to match up anyone who looks like they might be close to a relationship (or even if you don't) because she believes that everyone deserves to find their "one true love".

Points of interest this month: Minako is a new arrival! So, she's going to want to get to know people and explore. Cryptids remind her a lot of the monster of the week she fought back home, so she might not be so much into that, but she'll definitely enjoy shopping and exploring the planet in other ways.

The usual routine: Minako isn't quite sure what her job is, so she's going to be trying to figure that out. Additionally, she can be found at one of the restaurants. Don't let her cook. She's a disaster in the kitchen. She's also a disaster with technology. She's likely to blow up the microwave. Additionally, she can be found nosing around in people's business because she's like that.

Looking for: She's going to feel a bit lost without her wand and being stuck without the ability to transform as a result. So, she's likely going to be interested in learning how to defend herself as a human. She's actually really athletic and can do some pretty impressive stuff even as a human, so I'd love it if someone wants to train her to fight without magical girl powers. She's also a wannabe-idol, so she'd probably want to hang out with the Macross girls... LOL. Like with Keith, I'm open to negative CR as well.

Handwaved CR: As above, I'm open to regular training sessions, assumptions that she's trying to make romantic couples happen (she's not picky about things like gender or sexuality if she senses a "spark" between two people).
