We haven’t done one of these in a hot minute so we’re long overdue. If there is a section you’re not up for just delete it from the form below. Notes: I'm Australian and mostly tag on weeknights my time! I can be sporadic but try to reply at least 2-3 times a week.

Character Name: Connor
Canon: Detroit: Become Human
Age and species: Approximately 7-8 months? He's an android.
Ship and augment: Starduck, Communications
Brief description: Connor's an android who was designed to assist in police investigations, so basically a robo-cop. However he broke his programming and joined an android revolution/protest which means he is not so much a law-abiding machine anymore. Big on analytical processes, beginner-level on having feelings and being a whole person and such.

Points of interest this month: My plan is for Connor to hear about but never see cryptids in this system, thus fulfilling a function of an incredibly sceptical robot who doesn't believe this shit no matter how much you insist you did see a Bigfoot.

The usual routine: Connor always does his Communication officer duties on the Starduck in the morning. Once this is completed, he'll do some routine scans on the Atroma's systems looking for weak points. After that it's open season. While he's a routine-focused guy, Connor is a bit erratic for most of the day because he's not operating on his standard procedures and experimenting with what he wants to do with his time.

Looking for: As above, if anyone wants to bounce their cryptid-hunter off someone who's going to disbelieve it, Connor's your guy. Otherwise I'm game for pretty much anything! I'm always up for CR with characters who are unfamiliar with androids and don't actually realise anything's off about Connor initially. Negative CR is also A-OK with me. He's used to it :')

Thoughts on the other android?

80% glad, 20% hesitant. For the most part Connor's relieved to have someone like Vision around because he's an android, but not one from his world. That alleviates some of the inherent tension that comes from Connor's particular circumstances but it's still similar enough that there's a shared understanding. There are some things Connor's reluctant to reveal to Vision based on his idealistic nature and Connor having been somewhat less of a free agent than he thought he was, but with time that could change.

Character Name: Thor Odinson
Canon: Marvel Cinematic Universe
Age and species: 1500, Asgardian god
Ship and augment: Blue Fish, Security (and captain!)
Brief description: Thor is a warrior, a king, an Avenger, and more importantly a big cheerful guy who can also bench press a tank if he feels like it. He is bold and brash, typically first to run into a fight but also still responsible and considerate of those around him. He tends to play up the 'dumb meathead' idea whilst he's actually fairly smart and adaptive in his own right, and is not above being an underhanded shithead if he gets him the result he wants. Also, he's the god of thunder and can shoot lightning from his eyes.

Points of interest this month: Thor updated to Infinity War in January and has been in a Big Sad ever since. He is improving on that front! But he's still a bit all over the place in terms of his attitude and general despondency. He'll be out and about on the planet to try and distract himself from all of this, probably hunting some creatures and flying around with his magic hammer.

The usual routine: Thor routinely checks the Blue Fish's systems and crew in the mornings when he's on board, then goes to the Iskaulit to work out and swim. He used to go to his office on the Iskaulit daily as well, but at the moment it's only occasionally. In the evenings he often visits one of the bars for a drink. He'll also check in on friends of his fairly frequently, either in person or over the communicators. He prefers in person.

Looking for: I'm aiming to get Thor talking about some of the harder stuff he's been through lately, and ironically he is better at doing that with people he doesn't know as well! Thor is generally very friendly and he's easy to get positive CR with, even if you've never met him before.

I don't know if Kitty has passed into "knows too well to talk to" territory yet or not, but she's up for depressing talk! And I think she'd enjoy seeing him fly with a magic hammer. Because who wouldn't really?

Since they're more acquaintances than close friends I'd say not yet! They do seem like they'd be on a similar 'wow, everything at home is terrible' level so I'd be up for it. Thor will probably fly around a lot on the planet because it's very nice distraction.

If I put up a top level I'll ping you to it.
