Helpful Info for Ideas!:
Yang Xiao Long l RWBY
[She's been hard at work amassing a massive armory of snowballs behind an impressive little bunker she's dug out for herself. Beware yee who may draw near, for surely you will find a snowball being let fly aimed directly at your face.]
[If the frosty projectile should connect, you can expect to hear gleeful snickering coming from a short distance away.]

Nah. When Yang's involved, there's no such thing as cheating. The snowball passes through Blake like she's not even there (which, to be fair, she isn't), and a snowball of her own comes flying out of another angle right for Yang.]

[She smirks confidently as she turns her attention towards the direction that the return fire had come from. Oh yeah, it is so on! She quickly lobs the two snowballs in her hands, and dashes forward, chasing the snowballs as they fly.]

Still, a handspring to the side, leaving an afterimage behind to boost her speed and take the snowballs, and she's clear of the first wave. Then a spin with her leg, kicking up a cloud of snow to cover her, quickly scooping up two more snowballs and throwing them through the cloud. Even if she can't see through the cloud either, it's Yang. She's going to be coming through it head-on, so no need to aim, right?]

Well, fuck.]

She dives to the side, leaving her shadow behind, as she always does. But the boulder still clips her shoulder, knocking her to the ground.]

Her shadow clone solidifies under her, shooting her forward just past Yang's legs, where she's suddenly springing up, scooping up a loose snowball as she does, to plant it in the back of Yang's head.]

[After a moment, she rolls over, lying on her back and looking up at Blake. Her face red from the lying face down in the snow.]
You totally cheated.

I wasn't aware we'd established rules.
no subject
They're the unspoken, wildly-accepted rules of proper snowball combat.
Rule number 23. No semblance usage... especially if your semblance makes unfair shadow clone things that make you hard to hit.

Still, the point is that she has no qualms with exploring this winter wonderland. And she is overjoyed when she sees a familiar face! It is Yang, hiding behind an impressively-built-but-completely-lacking-in-actual-defensive-capabilities wall of snow.
Penny should greet her! After all, that is- ]

Penny's readings tell her that it is not any form of threat, so Penny makes no move whatsoever to dodge.
SMACK.
As the snowball slowly falls off of her face, she has to change her greeting into a question. ] Greetings Yang. May I ask why you threw a ball of snow at me?
no subject
Oh, hey... you...
[Yup, Yang definitely does not remember her name. And she's not hiding that fact well.]

[Clears throat unconvincingly.]
Right, what was your question?
no subject
My question was, why did you throw a ball of snow at me? [ The snowball has fallen off of her face and gotten snow all over her dress now. ]
no subject
Well, it's called a snowball. You pick up some snow.
[Yang demonstrates as she talks.]
You pack it into a ball. And then you throw it at someone. It's a game.
no subject
My apologies. I was not aware we were playing a game.

What-gwai</> was that for? Are you technical, or did nobody teach you not to throw things at complete strangers? You're lucky I wasn't in a combat sleeve, or I'd have returned fire with live rounds!
no subject
Uh... It's just a snowball.
[She bends over, packing together a new one. She stands up and shows it to him.]
See? Harmless.
no subject
Yes, that is, in fact, a snowball. The last thing about that size and weight thrown at me from ambush was not, is the thing. It was a ball of goo crawling with nanoviruses designed to turn me into a goo-hurling slime monster like what used to be my friend, before he'd gotten hit by a goo ball.
