November Wrap-Up
Thank you everyone for making the Calibration event so much fun! The event is ending, though both mods will continue to tag back as Diamond and/or Beau. If there are any lingering matters you want mod answers for, please ask! Everyone is welcome to continue tagging Calibrations and other Marsiva mingle threads for as long as they'd like, though it may be a good idea to get in contact with people you're in Calibration threads with if you want to wrap things up or find out how certain things go.
Since the fleet's passengers have experienced a lot during this event, and are coming away with a lot of confusing information (both from Calibrations and the Marsiva itself), they are now being returned to their ships as if nothing had ever happened.
...Almost.
For the first time in over a month, all passengers will wake up in their own beds, on their own assigned ships, in the middle of the night (12:01am to be exact). They'll find that their surroundings are almost completely back to normal. All of their valuables, pets, plants, collections, etc. will be exactly where they left them... with the addition of one little gift basket waiting for them in their rooms. Furthermore, once they've looked around a bit, they may notice that the interior of their ship doesn't seem exactly the same as it was when they left.
Gift Baskets!
Everyone receives a lovely little wicker basket with some chocolate candies, dried fruits, classy slippers in the passenger's favorite color, a special gift, and a note.
→ What's the special gift?
Each passenger can find one special gift in their basket. You can decide what they find out of the following options:
IMPORTANT NOTE: A few of these special gifts have already been decided for certain passengers! After their conversations with several people, Atroma knew exactly what to get them--so the following passengers will find this waiting for them in their gift basket instead of one of the options above:
→ Something new on the Network
The final item in each gift basket is a little typed note that reads:
Thank you all for your patience and understanding.
Please accept and enjoy these small tokens of appreciation, along with a little something that has been uploaded to your local network.
Sincerely,
Your watchful hosts.
And so, passengers will find a new storage directory on the Network, named with the date of their return to the ships. As long as the passenger has spent any time at all on the Marsiva during the Calibration event, there will be a digital file in this directory with their name on it.
What are these files, you ask? Each file is one piece of media from the dedicated passenger's home-world. This can be a song, an episode of a show, a movie, a digital book, a recording of a play, whatever... and it doesn't necessarily need to be one that the character has ever seen or heard before. For instance, anyone from Earth could find that their favorite song is now on the network... or they could just as easily find that their file is an episode from a telanovela they've never watched. This media doesn't need to have ever been digitized on their homeworld to show up on the network, so medieval-type characters could easily find familiar hymns or books they recognize recorded as their file.
Both the directory and the files inside of it will be open and available for any passenger to access at any time, for as long as this cycle is still going. The directory is sort of a permanent dedication to all of the passengers who had to endure the Calibrations.
Reply to the "MEDIA" comment below with the piece(s) of media you would like to have dedicated to your character(s). Links to youtube videos are welcome where they might apply. A list of all media files be added to the Extras page as we get them, for all the Fleet to enjoy for all time.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Your new and improved ships!
Well, okay, your ships are still mostly the same, though anyone with a keen eye will eventually notice subtle differences in the appearance and underlying structure of their vessels. It seems like Atroma did a little more than just fix all the glitches!
Blurbs covering these small changes will be found on the individual ship spreadsheets, once we add in the flavor-text for the newest upgrades (which is almost done).
So what now?
As all passengers have been returned to their ships, the Drift Fleet will continue on its course as if it never got held up in the first place! Now's the time to re-familiarize yourselves with your ships, meet your new crewmates, continue projects on the Iskaulit, and unwind after several tough months on the Marsiva.
The fleet will come into range of several basic way-stations over the next couple of weeks. They're nothing special, but they still feature large, empty courtyards for friends and crews to mingle together, if the ships will not suffice. Like at any other station, passengers can wander around, admire the boring plastic trees, play the rigged slot machines, shop for things like foodstuffs, clothes, games, cheap booze, and so on.
This station is entirely automated, and there's very little traffic aside from yourselves... But these stations are also more frequently maintained than the broken, looted ones that passengers have spotted over the last few months--so maybe you guys are finally heading back towards civilization!
We're aiming to get information about the next event up by 12/07. In the meantime, it's mostly up to you guys what you'd like to do! Consider this a little lull for everyone (both characters and players) to recover and attend to their own little projects again.
If anyone has any questions about this transition, the event, or anything else, feel free to ask it to the "QUESTIONS" comment down below. You may also use the comment section for plotting purposes, if you'd like!

Each passenger can find one special gift in their basket. You can decide what they find out of the following options:
- A fresh food from their world. As long as it can fit in a medium-sized basket along with the other things, they can have it. If it's something meant to be warm and toasty, it will even seem like it has just been cooked.
- Some other non-alcoholic drink or foodstuff from their world. This can be anything not necessarily fresh, but still related to food, like a spice, a drink mix, an ingredient they've wished they've had from home, their favorite candy, and so on.
- Either a small, non-powerful book, or several magazines. This can be a book that the passenger knows and loves, or it can be one that they've never read before, just so long as it is a book from their own world.
- A few (up to three) barely-useful trinkets from their world. Again, you can choose whether they are meaningful objects, or things that they've never seen before. Why did Atroma give you a "Best Dad" mug, a stuffed kangaroo, and a small plastic kazoo? We may never know...
IMPORTANT NOTE: A few of these special gifts have already been decided for certain passengers! After their conversations with several people, Atroma knew exactly what to get them--so the following passengers will find this waiting for them in their gift basket instead of one of the options above:
- Ahsoka Tano will find a bag of rock candy in her basket. There is also a typed note explaining that her kyber crystals are taking longer to get there than they'd hoped, and to consider this an IOU. Much love, Diamond.
- Stefan Salvatore will find a copy of the Qur'an, along with a typed note explaining where to find the many versions of the Bible (including a Catholic one) that Aziraphale made for the Bishop's library (which is currently moving to the Iskaulit). Much love, Diamond.
- Vash the Stampede will find a box of one-dozen doughnuts underneath his basket. All of them are warm and delicious.
- Finrod Felagund will find that his basket contains a half-bottle of Miruvor, though the bottle itself is not labeled or particularly fancy-looking.
- Nami will find a large bubble wand and accompanying bottle of bubble solution in her basket. She'll also find a typed note explaining that her climatact is currently stuck in customs, but that they hope to have it to her soon. Much love, Diamond.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
- If any player does not want to play with this part of the passengers returning to their ships, or otherwise doesn't reply with a choice of media, the passenger's name will still be listed in the directory, but that file will turn out to be corrupted.
- To cover the fact that media contributions will be filtering in as people comment, this can be explained in-game by the files taking time to actually finish uploading over the network. Perhaps this is a last-minute project on Atroma's part.
- Crowley's dedicated media must be a song by Queen. Obviously.
- SS Pathstone - It's a little darker, brassy--almost an antiquated look, but with details in sleek black metal. It's still a small ship, but the hallways seem to stretch on for much longer than you remember.
- SS Bloodsport - The ship has almost a scrappier look, and features more dull, black metal. It's not creepy so much as it is utilitarian and mechanical, kind of like a garage.
- SS Three Twins - The corners of the interior have been subtly rounded to make it appear more comfortable. There are more little lights in odd places, especially around the mirrors, and the sleeping quarters are set in a more rounded nook instead of lining a straight hallway.
- SS Red Fish - The lighting has dimmed since the last time you were on board. The rooms look older, sharper, almost archaic. There are an unusual number of skulls hidden in the ship's design.
- SS Blue Fish - It's filled with a brighter, more natural light. All of the rooms seem a little more spacious, with more spots to sit. The kitchen table has definitely gotten bigger.
- SS Wonderduck - This ship has gotten brighter, and while the interior's shape has not changed, most of the cold metal has been replaced with wood-like tan paneling. It appears comfortable, but not any more roomy.
- SS Tourist - Returning crew will find that the hallways are a little narrower, with higher ceilings. This ship somehow feels more labyrinthine than the others.
- SS Huntress - The rooms look larger, but the ceilings are just an inch lower than they should be. Much of the cold metal is now covered up with black and brown paneling, though there are a number of smaller panels in bright colors hidden here and there.
- SS Bishop - The rooms appear larger, with dark walls but numerous additional lights. The halls seem almost like an art gallery, with some of the ship's metal guts and cords exposed artistically to the walkways.
- SS First Breath - It has a more spartan design; you don't remember there being this many bars and pipes to trip over and run into. There's plenty of lighting, but the walls seem very plain.
- SS Golden - The interior is now more bronze and brass colored than grey. The layout isn't as practical as the others, and passengers will find a number of odd cubbies, triangular closets, and corners of the room that dip down for no apparent reason.
- SS Starstruck - Shinier and more lavish-looking than the other ships. Some of the controls even sparkle like little gemstones. It is no more comfortable or efficient than the other ships, however.
- SS Caprine - The rooms remain small, but the space is well-lit and much of the furniture and storage spaces will collapse back into the wall for efficiency. The interior is colored in a wide range of greys.
- SS Paisley - Many of the interior details appears softer and rounder than before, with more bright white panels taking prominence. The kitchen chairs have quietly been replaced with red-topped bar-stools.
- SS Vanquish - Instead of normal grey paneling for a hallway floor, it's now covered with a checkerboard of shiny white and black squares. The doorways of this ship are arched, even though they operate the same as before.
- SS Windrose - This ship feels even more cramped, with dimmer lighting. To make up for it, the electronics look sleeker, and there are a lot more windows to look out of than on any other ship.
- SS Heron - The ship appears much smaller than it really is. The main rooms are filled with soft light and warm-colored paneling, but the individual bunk rooms feel colder and more mechanical than before.

For Luffy's special gift, can he get:
- a pouch of mikan seeds
- a bug catching net (in need of repair)?
These things have sentimental value and would be kinda cute to have!

For Wrath
Here is Wrath describing the setup for the film to her bff Maine:
"I think... I wanna say this is like the third movie in this series but the other ones don't count. You just need to know the main character, Terrace Sevrens, has been like... injected with the blood of demons so she's super badass but it means every time she falls in love with someone they get horribly mangled in like three days. So she's been hunting the demons to their home planet and just like burning a swathe of destruction through the galaxy. And then in the last movie her little brother found her and got hurt really bad so she gave him a transfusion, so now he's got awesome demon blood too and can walk through walls. Got that?"
All I can say about this "film" is that it involves a sexy brother and sister team in ridiculous power armor bikinis, explosions and violence guaranteed to leave any actual soldier rolling on the floor with laughter, and a shower of boiling demon blood coupled with gratuitous nudity that somehow manages to be not quite incestuously weird. Feel free to make anything else up about it. It still can't be as ridiculous as the actual movie.
Red's Characters
→ Nel - gets just a giant recording of dance music nonsense from one of his favorite clubs back home.
→ Tek - is getting a book of Norran stories, not that anyone else can read it. But, at least the pictures are cool.

Well hey, she's from idolverse, so I might as well troll her with some of the music from the male idols.
