1. Have your character write ten anonymous notes to ten different people.
- They can be to anyone, in-game or long gone or never here at all.
- They can be as short as "I love you" or as long as a letter.
- They can be secrets your character would never tell, or things they'd never say. Assume some sort of truth device is in play if you need to.

2. Post them in one comment, numbered one to ten. Don't mention any names!

3. Other characters reply as though they've come across the list, guessing who each note is meant for! Shenanigans ensue. OR just comment OOCly. Whatever you feel like!

[ No, Leto's never been one to shy from the truth, and Shinjiro wouldn't expect it of him. Still, the surprise is probably evident on his face before he finds himself looking at the ground. ]

Loving you's never been the problem. [ Though he's not fully aware it's the first time he's said the words aloud. ] That part feels natural.

[ Feeling like he deserves to be loved, however... ]

And yet it is a problem.

[ Even if that part is not one of them. ]

[ Having his memories back at last, all of them, has put a few things in perspective. And though he gained some peace in them, there's certain things that just don't go away with that. Years worth of self-hatred is one of those things. ]

It's hard to do anything about that feeling. I can't help but think... "He can do better. He deserves better than me." So I don't do anything with those feelings.

[ He can't help but feel like he's disappointing Dune, and he hates that feeling more than anything. But he doesn't want to lie, either. ]

Probably not. [ And then, because it's true: ] I'm sorry.

[ He knew the truth. Deep down, he knew. He just never wanted to accept it. ]

[ He can't look at Dune or he might break down. He wants so much to change his mind, to take his hand and say that it doesn't matter that he doesn't deserve Dune, that he wants him anyway. That he loves him, that he wants to treasure every second that he has by Dune's side and that he wants to kiss him right this very second and—

And it's not that all of that isn't true, but his self-loathing is a punishment he imposes on himself. He doesn't have the courage to make a move, to find out what the taste of Dune's mouth would be. To say "I love you" like it's a prayer, like Dune is a prayer.

In the end, he doesn't say anything at all, staring at the ground and wishing in this moment that the man known as Aragaki Shinjiro, sometimes called Sable, did not exist at all. ]
