JENNIFER KELLER
What they are like: Jennifer's from the good ship Wonderduck and is from a very tropey sci-fi canon, so by this point there's little in the Fleet that can faze her. She's a medical officer and is very confident in the infirmary, but outside of it she can be shy, socially awkward, lack self-confidence and have difficulty approaching others. However, she is a good friend and good at being a listening ear when needed.
Looking for: Jennifer has been offering (handwaved) first-aid lessons to anybody willing to learn, and she's been starting to gather medical supplies to make first-aid stations/supply caches around the Iskaulit, so anybody wanting to help with that would be great. Also, just more friends and more connections in general.
Notes: I got some good crit not too long ago about Jennifer's posts/starters sometimes being difficult to reply to if you're not existing CR. If that is ever the case, please do not hesitate to poke me; I can rewrite things to give more substance or hooks if needed. SIMON TAM
What they are like: Simon is the Bloodsport's doctor. He seems very serious and distant on the surface; he's been through a lot in his life and very guarded. However, he's a loyal friend and a consummate professional, and he's gotten to the point where he's "ah, ok, that sounds 100% plausible" about anything wacky that comes up in the Fleet. He also has a sarcastic sense of humor that rears its head every now and then. Simon is very very good at what he does and is available for any doctoring or checkup needs.
Looking for: Simon has been quietly investigating and seeing what he can find out about the whole "you've been abducted for a reality show" thing, because he's quite skeptical about Atroma's story. So anyone willing to help him or even compare notes and discuss the nature of their existence on the Fleet would be great. He also needs to reach out more to people as a person rather than just as a doctor. He's been feeling a little empty lately because outside of doctoring and in the absence of his mentally ill sister River (for whom he's the primary caretaker) he feels like he doesn't have much to drive him.

What they are like: Hank is from the XMCU post both movies as well as post-
He's an incredibly awkward and nerdy mutant with a bucket of issues pertaining to the latter, although he's slowly working through those. He's also well-meaning and kind and likes making friends, once he gets over the fact that no one gives a darn what he is. He's Captain of the Blameless (insert 12 hour laught track) as well as lab support, and will happily take on any project given to him, because distractions are great. Currently dating Raven Darkholme.
Looking for: Any kind of CR is great CR, though I would love him to meet someone who isn't okay with him being a mutant. It doesn't have to be particularly negative but if that's your jam I'm down too. People who'll support him and help him with his issues are also great! I'm very open to anything and love to see where things go naturally, but plotting things out is also awesome. Bullies always welcome, especially if they're the teenage girl-type. He has a tradition to uphold.
As an aside, he's part of Winn's lecturing series and will eventually give one on genetics, if your character would be interested in it!

What they are like: Cagey af, to be honest. Natasha can be social, seem friendly, flirt and tease, but a lot of it's diversion. She fronts a lot, so it can be hard to know what's real, and what's... artfully constructed for a realistic experience. Underneath it all, she's a good person with a pretty damaged moral compass and a strong vein of pragmatism.
Looking for: Anything! I've only been in this game a short while, and any kind of CR is absolutely welcome. I particularly do love Nat in sort of a mentor-y role, so if anyone's looking for a cool adult lady mentor, hit me up for that!

What they are like: Snippy, hot headed, kind, empathic. A sort of inbetween a kid and an adult age at 17 years old, Ahsoka makes both an excellent big sister to younger kids and a snippy little sister to older characters. She also just liked ppl a lot and would like to be your friend, but she is also not above negative CR and eye rolling at or rivalling your character of they are a dumbass or smell like the dark side. Oh also she's an ex Jedi and a bisexual hot mess.

What they are like: A little standoffish, but trying to make new friends; she's a mutant and she's extremely proud about it when she actually gets to talk about it. What they are like: [application] Quiet, shy, neurotic, introverted, depressed, self-hating, a bit unstable, with a great deal of empathy and a lot of kindness. Interested in astronomy, music, cooking, and not destroying the world. Currently a pilot stationed on the Heron. Formerly an Evangelion pilot, which is a fancy word for traumatized child soldier.
Looking for: Unhelpfully, I'm looking for any sort of CR whatsoever. His ratings still aren't that stable because he needs to meet more people; he's afraid of being "sent home." People around Shinji's age (mid-teens) who can be his friend. Older people who can also be his friend. People who can be good influences/mentors and help him realize adults aren't all out to hurt him. People who can be pseudo-family figures--especially father figures, yikes. I'd like to get him interested in photography and other random hobbies. He's still learning how to sew, so he could make something for someone. Anyone who wants to give him therapy is much appreciated, too. Negative CR is also pretty great, since he can be whiny, off-putting, and sarcastic in certain situations. Later in the month, he'll be fully manifesting as an Angel, so if anyone's interested in seeing that go down...
Notes: I prefer writing in present tense, but that isn't set in stone. Shinji is also here with two people from his canon--Kaworu Nagisa and Asuka Shikinami Langley. They're often hovering around him, and he's likewise very protective of them.

What they are like:
Theon is like an onion. Onions have layers, Shrek, all star, etc.
He's typically all cocky and smiles and laughter on the outside, but it's all a facade for his deep-seated insecurity and self-loathing. He really doesn't know who he is or where he fits in because of the manner in which he was raised. He makes bad decisions and usually makes things worse when he tries to fix them.
It should be noted that his sister just informed him of his post-Clash of Kings storyline which isn't happy stuff, so he's kind of mopey and paranoid right now. I might make a post about it next month idk.

What they are like: it's not a bird! it's not a plane! because it's afraid of heights - look lower! lower - there you go! it's SUPERNERD!! Winn is very smart, very eager to learn and please, very loyal, and somewhat neurotic fanboy. He's got some major abandonment and self esteem issues, and the way to his heart runs through his stomach - and through his tech.
Looking for: anything and everything always. Romantically, he's very much taken, but he could always use more bros - and if you want an easy victim - he is absolutely that. Although, be advised that he's costume-maker and friend to a LOT of superheroes (and boyfriend to one), so he will be avenged :) Also he's organizing weekly lectures on the iskaulit, if your character wants to give one they're always welcome to give him a call!

What they are like: Teenage pseudo-mermaid ambassador who likes hanging out with friends and trying very hard to grow up and be a good ambassador to her people. Has kind of a mean streak when trying to be funny. Very honest, very aggressive about helping people make better life choices since she's made some really bad choices herself. So if you're interested in doing some kind of arc with your characters Shirley might be able to help!
Looking for: Shirley's going to be a little shaken up by her recent re-arrival and the differences she experiences on the Fleet! Both familiar faces for stability and new faces for new CR would be great. Notes: I love love love having plurk friends! I'm in the middle of moving house rn so I've got more frustrated life plurks than usual, but I also spend a lot of time just chatting about things that I enjoy (see above).

What they are like: relatively small (but not Yoda small) green Jedi with severely repressed PTSD, many Opinions on war/politics/peacekeeping, and a talent for magic healing, which probably just makes those first two things worse. other than that, she's externally very polite, if a little reserved and unlikely to start conversations unless they catch her interest or it seems necessary for the person she's talking to.
Looking for: literally anything! she's new to the SS Golden so getting cr with the crew there would be especially lovely. Barriss can be good for polite, nice-but-distant cr or fighting her about war being a good/necessary thing. also it's worth noting that her castmates know she does something terrible in the future and there is every chance she's going to find out at some point and that might just drive her to a Dark Side nose dive, which should be great for ratings, but might require her to have friends to bounce back from.

Characters: Kirigaya Kazuto / Kirito | Sword Art Online
What they are like: Kirito is a dumb genius shounen hero who was trapped for two years in an MMO where people literally die when their HP hits zero. He's one year out of it, and mentally he's still dealing with the fallout- trauma, guilt, blah blah fun stuff- as well as adjusting to life outside of a 24/7 video game. Physically he has the ability to switch between his avatars. He's an awkward nerd but an overall nice guy, so he's fairly easy to get along with. Within the next month he's also getting updated to also have his sword skills and some magic to go along with those avatars.
Looking for: Pretty much anything, tbh. He has a comfortable friend base but expanding is good! Despite his awkward nerdery he's pretty easy to get along with once you get him talking. He's setting up an engineering lab on the Iskaulit, as well as a movie theater, so shenanigans will be incoming when he gets the parts. Also, with the aforementioned magic he's going to need some serious training, so anyone with magic experience might be good for advice-offering!
Characters: Mikleo | Tales of Zestiria
What they are like: Mikleo is a seraph who loves loves loves archaeology/ruins and water. Because he's a water seraph. It's a thing. He is also a nerd and a nice guy, but he's significantly more tsun than Kirito, and a bit of a snob on top. He has a slight anti-human bias because he was raised by Racist Grandpa(TM) but he's not obvious about it. And there are certain humans he would die for, anyway...
Looking for: I love positive CR but I also dig conflict, too, so I could really go either way. Mikleo loves to learn, so he will chatter on about his world and listen for HOURS about someone else's if it's interesting enough, so world-sharing is an easy CR-building tool. He could use new friends, since he's not as good at making them. One of the downsides of Mickey-boy is as a seraph, he can't be seen or heard by a lot of people, so have a look at his permissions post. The comm is open game for everyone regardless of resonance, though!
Notes: I work full time so generally I tag once or twice a day. When I'm around and free I am perfectly content to boomerang until ungodly hours of the morning, so if anybody needs some of that, feel free to holler my way.

What they are like: Robb is a young king who can be obnoxiously stubborn and old fashioned. He has a hard time to open his mind to new things but he tries. Next to that he is friendly, gallant and loyal to those he calls his friends. At times he finds it hard to blend in to this modern world and tries his best to understand everything. Recently he is busy with processing the awful future that is awaiting him and it makes him extra protective of his siblings. He also got a bitty direwolf pup lately and that definitely improved his mood lately. At times he does feel alone because he misses his wife.
Looking for: Pretty much everything but especially patient people who feel like showing a stubborn medieval king around in a world where magic and sorcery exists. He already has made some good friends but there can always be more.

What they are like: Hux is not a nice person. Raised to think the Galactic Empire was the best thing that happened to the galaxy and the First Order is just continuing the legacy. So things like blowing up entire planets is completely justified in his view. He's very determined, controlled but with a bit of a temper he tries to keep very tightly under control for the most part but he's passionate about taking over the galaxy.
Looking for: I am good with pretty much anything! Hux is so far out of his comfort zone it's beautiful. He's not the type to really make friends so much as people he tolerates/finds useful as allies (it would take a very...very..special kind of person to be his friend) but I love negative CR. People to force him more out of his comfort zone.

What they are like: My Hawke is a custom-look diplomatic/charming version of the Dragon Age 2 protag. His world state is kinda shitty but he really tried to do well! He just... made some dumb (though ultimately understandable) mistakes. Mostly he wants to make amends for those and try to make the most of not being in Thedas, but also protect the people here because Adalwolfe doesn't think he's doing life right if he doesn't feel responsible for everyone he meets.
Looking for: Basically everything besides a ship! I love found family, I love drama, I love negative and positive CR. I love my character adopting others, I love them adopting him, and everything in between. I also love people who tell him he makes bad life choices then follow him into them anyway because Hawke why???
Notes: Timezone is US Central (GMT -5/-6 in the winter). I work Wednesday through Sunday at a tabletop store most weeks so my tagging on those days can be somewhat slow, depending. I try not to let any tags get older than 7 days max, though usually it's no older than 3 or 4. For combat threads I sometimes roll dice to figure outcomes since my original RP background is in D&D.
