Characters: Anders
What they are like: Cat-loving mage and First Mate of the Three Twins, usually selfless and caring but also known to be a giant asshat tool at times. Kinda blew up his world's version of a church to insight change for the opression of mages, still working through that one. He was possessed by a spirit of justice for the last ten years, but thinks to Allen, he's just himself now. He's working through that one too since he doesn't quite know what it means anymore.

Looking for: I'd love for Anders to have more friends because he sucks at making them! But, he sucks at making them and can definitely rub people the wrong way, so enemies are also welcome!

What I'm looking for development-wise is Anders figuring out who he is now that Justice is gone and he's only going to do that with time and conversations, so what I'd like are: people with patience, people he can tease or snark with to remind him he has a sense of humor and maybe some people he can take care of so he has something to put his focus on. Or magic. Magic friends are definitely a plus! Or if your character hates magic, that's an easy way to get some negative CR flowing. Also, if any of Adalwolfe Hawke's CR wants to meet his quiet but-also-sometimes-a-dick-boyfriend, I'd be down for that too!

Notes: I'm back at work and still nurturing a freelance possibility, so my tagging isn't the 'full clear every day' kind. I've been managing a few tags every day, however and I usually stay on top of my inbox on my weekends, so if there's a thread you want to focus on, I'll be happy to prioritize it!

What they are like: Jennifer resides on the good ship Wonderduck and is from a very tropey sci-fi canon, so by this point there's little in the Fleet that can faze her. She's a medical officer and is very confident in the infirmary, but outside of it she can be shy, socially awkward, lack self-confidence and have difficulty approaching others. However, she is a good friend and good at being a listening ear when needed.
Looking for: Jennifer's currently in hypersleep, but I'll be bringing her out of it soon. She offers (handwaved) medical/first aid lessons for anyone willing to learn, and has an ongoing interest in keeping supply caches/first aid stations scattered around the Iskaulit. She's got some PTSD but she's also tough, protective, and caring. Her power is "phasing" where she can become intangible or walk on air or through solid objects. She's a hero even if she feels uncomfortable applying that word to herself. Dating Winn from Supergirl. She's on the Windrose when she isn't with him on the Tourist.

He's kind and outgoing, loud, playful and affectionate, and he tries his best to be a great captain for his ship. While he's the pilot of the Vanquish, he also does some engineering on the side, and would gladly help others with overseeing their ship since learning about them is his passion.

Or go exploring with him when they reach a planet, and actually keep up with how much of a puppy he is when it comes to discovering new things. He makes really bad decisions, but somehow Atroma still lets him handle the weapons on the Paisley. He's good with a bow and too stubborn to know when to stop an argument/fight, but he's really not a bad guy. He just has some issues.

What they are like: Riona is generally a sweet outgoing person who typically believes the best of people (save for herself). However, she's got a volatile temper if set off, and she's crazy determined if she wants to be. So basically a temperamental ball of sunshine (when she's not beating herself up about stupid things).
Looking for: I love any and all CR, though some negative CR would probably be good. She hasn't had any enemies around her for awhile.

She's slowly backing off on the whole keeping her title as queen a secret, though she's not going around announcing it either. In addition, she's trying to make efforts to not bottle up her worries and insecurities and to be more open with people instead. So anyone keen on prying into either of those issues would be fun, too.

What they are like: Personnel on the Golden. Jeyne is gentle, soft and kind with a tender heart. She can sometimes get a bit too down in the mouth (which is probably why she and Robb are so well suited). She is a caregiver and looks after others, sometimes taking on their worries herself, if they let her. She can also display a large amount of strength and anger, with the right provocation. It's just a matter of finding the right buttons to push.
Looking for: Any and all CR. She came into the game at the tail end of October, so she's still meeting people and getting her bearings. I'd like for her to have a few friends outside of her husband's. I'm not opposed to negative CR as well.

She needs to start learning some new skills (like defense, basic security, cookings and so on). I'd love for her to find some teachers.

I like: My main fandoms these days are Tolkien, Star Trek, and... can history be a fandom? I have a dumb historical oc that I'm writing about that sends me into weird and wonderful research places. What they are like: Friendly, good-natured elven prince. Intelligent, loyal to a fault. Unfortunately sometimes prone to 'honor before reason,' but he's trying to get better about looking before leaping. Does have a temper and can be a bit arrogant if you hit the right buttons.

ETA: He's also the captain of the Bishop and a communications officer. If I ever stop failing, I want to start putting up "captain's open door" type-posts where everyone can come and harass him in his office.

Looking for: I really need to make him so more friends because things aren't right with the world if Finrod isn't popping up all over the place and befriending people. But gosh, if you want to aggravate him, I am all for this. I don't get to play him angry very often, so that would be fun.

Notes: He's mildly telepathic! I...thought I had a permissions post, but I don't, so I will get on that. Mostly with him, it seems to be used in a communication-type context, but if there is something you want to play with re: having him pick up on something, it's certainly possible.

I like: Most anime and video games are on my like list. Recently just finished the Mass Effect Trilogy. I have a huge love for Zelda and Trigun. In fact if you hate Trigun, best not to look at my plurk. Just a bit of a fan. Undertale, Steven Universe and I recently gotten into Gravity Falls so I'm eating that up. I enjoy the Tales Of games. Rurouni Kenshin, Mushishi, Ikigami, Blood Battlefield Blockade, Tiger and Bunny, Monster, and Cowboy Bebop are just a few more anime/manga I've really enjoyed. I really like Marvel movies and have been slowly getting into comic books. And I'll end there instead of continuing to ramble on.

Characters: Vash the Stampede
What they are like: Vash is a believer in love and peace. He acts like an idiot and a fool, but he's actually a genius. He's an expert marksman and isn't human which gives him certain abilities. He'll do anything to keep everyone alive. Good guys and bad guys and he's really good at it. He's great if you need a way out of a situation with no one dying. Or if you need a good laugh. Vash wants everyone to live their lives to the very best and be happy. He's getting better about being more open about things, but he still has a lot of secrets he's hiding. The great thing about Vash is he actually has a lot of trauma and pain in his life, but he rarely lets it show due to his extreme love and respect for life. He won't forget the bad times, but he doesn't let them control or change him either. So while 90% of the time he's acting like a big goof he can flip on a dime and pretty damn scary if he must. He didn't get a 60 Billion bounty on his head back home for nothing.
Looking for: I would like Vash to get more friends. He'll have conversations and like people, but not as many friends as someone as outgoing as Vash should probably have. Interested in astronomy, music, cooking, and not destroying the world. Currently a pilot stationed on the Heron. Formerly an Evangelion pilot, which is a fancy word for traumatized child soldier.
Looking for: Unhelpfully, I'm looking for any sort of CR whatsoever. His ratings still aren't that stable because he needs to meet more people; he's still afraid of being "sent home." People around Shinji's age (mid-teens) who can be his friend. Older people who can also be his friend. People who can be good influences/mentors and help him realize adults aren't all out to hurt him. People who can be pseudo-family figures--especially father figures, yikes. I'd like to get him interested in photography and other random hobbies. He's practicing how to sew, so he could make something for someone. Anyone who wants to give him therapy is much appreciated, too. Negative CR is also pretty great, since he can be whiny, off-putting, and sarcastic in certain situations. He has fully manifested as an "Angel," which is an alien being with immense power--he's still learning how to control that power. Quirky situations could arise from that.
Notes: I prefer writing in present tense, but that isn't set in stone. Shinji is also here with two people from his canon--Kaworu Nagisa and Asuka Shikinami Langley. They're often hovering around him, and he's likewise very protective of them. It's pretty much a love triangle at this point.
