(Aka, this is a meme that is kind of like... the child of a tl;dr meme and a cr meme? Do you want to gush at someone else, and tell them how much their character means to your character? kaneis gives him a lot of conflicted feelings, especially after know what happened to him back in his world. it bothers him a lot that kaneis is actually dead and he still kind of blames himself for that (because come on, what the FUCK was he doing), and it especially bothers him that kaneis never told him the specifics behind his death, even if he know it's an incredibly uncomfortable subject. actually, there's a lot of stuff that lloyd can tell he's hiding from him, and it bothers him to no end, mostly because he's used to zelos not holding a lot back from him. in a sense, lloyd is back to square one with kaneis and we're all aware about lloyd's patience with this sort of thing.
despite all of that, though, he's still his friend. things may have happened differently for kaneis, and he may kind of miss the happy-go-lucky attitude he knew he'd put on, but to lloyd, he's still zelos. and because of that, he's willing to be patient with kaneis-- he's willing to wait for as long as he needs to and then some before kaneis is ready to tell him everything simply because he's still his friend. in turn, lloyd will still be there for him as a friend, through thick and thin, no matter what, for anything that troubles him.
