He thinks she's adorable and lovely, and hanging around her makes him feel useful and like everything is alright in the world. He loves that someone actually wants him around and cares that he's alive.

...He also sometimes forgets that she exists, often forgets their plans, and would absolutely stand by and just be sad and do nothing if he watched something bad happen to her.
