[There is a lady with some weird face art(?) prying open a bulkhead and poking around in there. Does she know what she's doing? Maybe someone should stop her before she disconnects that important-looking bundle of wires--

Too late.]

[Do Borg implants survive being submerged in water? Apparently, since Seven is currently swimming around a shopping area fairly aimlessly, though she has a somewhat discomforted look on her face. She mostly seems to be browsing at the moment.]

[When Beverly first sees her, drifting by one of the market stalls, those familiar yet alarming implants gleaming, she stops short, her breath caught in her throat. Borg. It's an instinctive reaction, especially considering what she left at home recently, but immediately she chides herself inwardly for it and hopes the other woman didn't notice.]

[Seven noticed, alright. Stares, usually accompanied by gasps, are quite common from people familiar with the Borg. Normally it would bother her a little, but for some perverse reason this time she's actually a little glad to see it. People knowing the Borg mean people from her universe. Maybe even... Starfleet.

Most normal people would approach with caution, perhaps try to strike up a natural-sounding conversation. The Doctor has worked with Seven on this many times, and even gotten some of the lessons to stick, but in uncertainty Seven tends to fall back on Borg efficiency. Luckily they're close enough that she doesn't even have to swim up to the other woman.]

[Beverly flushes. Damn it.]

I'm sorry. That was rude of me.

[She offers Seven a hand to shake, an offer of some trust she hopes.]

[Have an almost Vulcan eyebrow-raise, Bev. She considers the hand, surprised that it was offered at all.

Luckily her right hand is free of Borg hardware as she takes the offered hand firmly (but not too firmly) in her own, and shakes it twice.]

[Putting her hands behind her in her usual pose feels a little odd when floating in breathable water, but Seven does it anyway.]

I cannot be entirely accurate, but a rough estimate would be less than twenty-four hours ago.

[A very small part of her is panicking about being ripped away from Voyager in some manner, but it's not nearly as traumatic as when she was ripped from the Collective. She will adapt, and find a way back.]

I was unable to obtain any information about how I arrived here, and thought it prudent to investigate all avenues open to me.

[Just what she thought she might find in a watery marketplace is anyone's guess.]

I was trying to find something out in particular, at the moment--I heard that we are only visiting this curious planet on a temporary basis. Do you know if this... organization has a goal it is heading toward in mind, or is this simply exploring for its own sake?

We're told that we're on a ... [Here she does air quotes with her fingers] "reality" television show, so these stops are to keep the audience interested and entertained, but I suspect there is another motive behind that... If the show Is even real.
