[A demeanor screaming "leave me alone" never bothers Fie, especially if it's from someone she considers to be like family. So here they are on the Wonderduck for the sake of this thread just hanging out in the kitchen. She's done her best to salvage him something slightly appealing to eat in a show of... caring? Who knows.

Still, she's seated across from him, drinking from a mug that says NUMBER ONE SIRE, occasionally staling a glance at her classmate.]

I'm doing as well as I can considering I don't want to be here. At least I'm capable of managing.

[Well, what she has does look edible, so he'll give her credit for that much. At least someone tries to work with him here, even if it's due to actually knowing one another.

His expression doesn't change, and he still doesn't really look all too happy, but he's content she's there with him?]

[His voice, as usual, has little inflection so he seems to show no interest. However, since Fie actually knows him, it's probably clear to her that it's something interesting to hear that she's taken interest in some people.]

[Since it's him, she seriously thinks about an answer. While it may not be to his liking, it's clear she at least is trying.]

Well, one of them's a candelabra. He used to be human. And he'a very charming.

Another girl seems very shy but kind. I want to start gardening with her.

I would suggest you start reading books at the level you're supposed to be reading at.

[Jusis has seen a lot of shit, but this... yeah no. Despite the fact they're on space TV.]

[She doesn't even bat an eye. Fie brings out her communicator and pulls up a broadcast before sliding it across the table to Jusis to watch.]

[There's honestly not a reaction from Jusis as he watches the broadcast, but there's no apology from him either.]

[Okay, so his reaction is that he honestly has no retort nor passive aggressive comeback. She got him.]

[And because she knows him, his lack of smarm is reward enough. Fie takes back her comm once he's finished.]

Don't be so quick to discount things here. You might cross someone you don't want to upset.

[Her words aren't because she doubts his combat abilities, but because she does care what happens to him.]

I don't see how this is any worse than what we've had before.

[And military food is awful. Sure, it's not his uncle's food, but he won't complain. He's not that kind of noble.]

I suppose we should be thankful they're giving us this much.

Well, I tried to make this more appealing to start with. Didn't know if you'd be hungry or not.

I suppose it wouldn't hurt to eat a little right now.

[Because he can't straightforward say 'thank you for your kindness' even to someone he's gotten to know well.

He'll start picking at whatever she's made him.]

Nope. [Because she's her and he's him, she doesn't watch with anticipation to see if he likes it or not.

Fie instead chooses to stand up and go over to the fridge area, pulling out a space fruit and taking a bite.]

Your wardrobe choices are limited, too. Unless you're comfortable wearing the same thing day after day.

How is it different from school? As long as he have a usable washer and dryer, it will be easy to get by.

[Just stating the obvious. There's no need for new clothes everyday. As long as he can clean what he needs to wear, that's all he really needs. He's not going to complain that they're actually being given things to get by and be somewhat comfortable.]

I think all will be fine.
