[Victor smiles warmly.] Perhaps I believe in you enough to plan ahead.

[Yuuri looks over at him at that, and there it is again. That faith, that trust, that Yuuri can do it. Win a gold, over Chris, Yurio, even Victor himself.

So. He sets his chin, determination flashing behind his glasses as he leans in and kisses Victor on the lips. Firmly, warmly, but just for a moment because he's still learning it's okay to do stuff like that.]

...Thank you, Victor. [He smiles into the pot, before looking over at him.] How much did you want? I made plenty but - it's still experimental.

[goldkiss]

[Victor's heart flutters a bit at the gentle kissing.]

I'm sure it's tasty! But you dish out for yourself first. You said that you hadn't eaten in a while?

Yeah - I - uhm. [Ugh this was so embarrassing. He put his head down, as he put a fairly good portion of noodles, fried pork paste bits and powdered eggs into his bowl. Then he dished out some for Victor, and taking his hand, led him over to the table. He handed over the chopsticks - thank goodness they had those...

And played with his food a little, as he confessed.] I didn't act very, uhm, bravely when I got here. I sort of - had a panic attack. That lasted. A few days.

[Victor's eyes narrow a bit and he considers Yuuri carefully. He wishes he had known that he was here. Even if he couldn't get to The Marsiva, he could have stayed up talking to Yuuri over their communicators.]

Are you feeling better now?

[Yuuri took a mouthful of noodles, slurping them down slowly. Taking a couple of careful bites, he chewed, staring down into the bowl for a moment. Not bad! He could probably deal with more spices, but not bad.

He looked up, and crooked a wry little smile.] Well. Yeah. You're here.

[He twisted another biteful of noodles.] And ... I came out of my room! Did a practice today, in the dance studio. So I'm getting towards better and better every minute. It's just overwhelming, you know? All ... this.

[Victor reaches over and puts a hand on Yuuri's arm. He squeezes lightly.]

I'm glad you're practicing.

[Then, finally, he settles on eating.] Ah! This is pretty good!

[Yuuri looks up, at that hand, then into Victor's face, and he nods.]

I am too.

[That serious look became a beaming smile.] Really? I was just playing around - I think I need to make it spicier.

That would be good, but your talents do shine though.

Well, I will then feed you my talents whenever you want. [He beamed again, as he ate more himself. God he was Starving.]

[Victor grinned in a way that hinted that he probably wasn't thinking about just food but then he quickly distracted himself but eating.

After a certain point.] So, do you know what your duties are for the ship yet?

[Well that grin was rather familiar - so familiar that Yuuri automatically blushed up to his forehead. Then he put himself to finishing his bowl - considered seconds but shook his head.

Not if he wanted to keep in the shape he was in. He gained weight far too easily.]

Yes! Communications officer. Kinda ironic, all things considered.
