[Mikleo nods along, shifting a bit closer to inspect what looks like a bracelet with similar beads in varying colours.]

There's an amazing collection of tradesmen on this world, and they have such an elegant style to them. Although with some of them, you'd have to imagine how they look outside the water, as well...

[He turns the bracelet around, demonstrating how the beads glimmer in the underwater light, and how the tiny beaded tassles float around like jellyfish tentacles.]

[ Watching the beads glimmer in the light he turns the necklace in his hand slightly, the beads on it putting on a rather similar display. ]

They might lose some of their effect but they'd still be beautiful. Who couldn't find such pieces beautiful even out of the water, look at the shape and colors of the beads, the strong and yet soft thread that ties it all together.

[ Well someone here isn't just interested in pretty things now, is he? ]

They'd make a fine gift.

[He's nozy. Going by the colour, it doesn't look like something you'd give to Zaveid, and that's the only person in the fleet that he thinks Eizen is that close to. It hasn't been that long.

[ He doesn't think to hide it, answering candidly as though it should be obvious. Zaveid never once entered his mind. Perhaps because he has never been much of a gift giving outside of Edna, always going out of his way to spoil her, sending her gifts and letters whenever he is able.

Zaveid never really needed gifts like that from him, better to get him a bottle of something strong they could share up high where the wind was cool. ]

[It's a weird feeling, talking about her after all this time- they used to bicker constantly, but now that it's been more than a year since he's been home, he can at least admit to himself that he misses her. He knows Sorey does.

He's glad she wasn't around for... all of that... but now he's wishing she was. For Eizen to be here, alive, is a tremendous gift.]
