Oh yes. Because exploring ancient ruins certainly never led to the end of all life on any planets we know about ever.

[Even if she wasn't deliberately dripping her words with sarcasm, her smile certainly belies any problems she might have with this particular expedition. Really, she's just pleased to see a familiar face in all this craziness, between arriving on an alien spaceship/TV show, and getting dropped into a water planet. Besides, she knows that last time wasn't Aradia's fault at all. It was inevitable that they would find the SGRUB discs and that the meteors would end their world. In fact, Kanaya's always felt a little bad about accusing Aradia of attempting to bring about the apocalypse. Still, it's not like any of them really understood what had been / was / would be happening. Stupid time loops.]

    Hi again, Aradia.

[Oh hey someone she actually knows!]

Kanaya! What are you doing here? ... Wait, no, that's a stupid question. I am glad to see you, though!

And technically the exploration of said ancient ruins is what got us out of said apocalypse, but you know that already, so I assume you are just joking around. [With Kanaya, it can sometimes be hard to tell.]

[Well, Kanaya is here with her, after all. Clearly she isn't too against this course of action.]

Well, if we're being technical, then the exploration of those ruins was both responsible for, and saved us from the apocalypse, while also being entirely necessary for the stability of our timeloop and our existence in the first place. But just because our previous experience with mysterious ruins was vital to our very creation does not mean that a good idea is what is happening here.

...Though it doesn't mean it's a bad idea either. It's good to see you too, by the way.

Yes, that is more accurate. I just didn't want to go into a whole big thing. [Aradia you are a Homestuck, when has that ever stopped you...]

This is excellent, though. It's pretty dark in there, but with you along we will not even need a flashlight!
    sylphauxiliatrix: (sprite glowing flat talking)

    MUCH WATER. SO WET. WOW.

Someday I will finally have enough of people using me to illuminate dark and potentially dangerous passageways.

[Luckily, the local fashions which Kanaya has already managed to adopt aren't very covering, though they aren't exactly immodest either. She clicks on her strangle bioluminescence, and there's more than enough of her exposed to serve as an effective light source.]

Apparently today is not that day.
