Not just any spear.
I brought it by one of the weapons dealers in the bazaar and she said that the beads around the hilt have religious significance. She asked me where I found it and said that their priestesses used to carry these a long time ago. Isn't that neat?! [GET HYPE /airhorn noises]
But look! The beads are still glossy even though the rest of the spear is worn! I wonder what they're made of...

Is he hype? Eizen is so hype you don't even know. ]
Religious significance? It almost looks ceremonial but the blade... They could have been used in battle, to defend the temples from attackers.
[ He makes a note to investigate this planet's history and it's temples. They treasures the could find... ]
Pearls? With enough time they can be shaped maybe even colored, and they would resist erosion from the sea water.

[If he can't bring Eizen to the interesting stuff, he'll just bring all the interesting stuff to Eizen instead.]

[ He's gone.
Eizen sighs only to return his attention to the spear in his hands. He can keep this right? Because he is going to keep this. ]

Sorey returns with a half-twisted, somewhat crusted looking piece of metal that he's still carefully trying to pick clean of various ocean debris.] Here, this was near it. I think this one is definitely metal, but it's in a lot worse shape. I had to roll a boulder off of it.

He's turning over the spear when Sorey returns, inspecting the shaft, the blade, the gears of his mind churning with one possibility after another of what it could have been used for. Eizen's eyes widen briefly glancing over the crusted piece of metal, it's definitely in worse shape than the spear. ]
The salt water has gotten to it, has been eating away at the metal. Who knows how long it was sitting under the boulder. [ Invaders maybe? Or maybe a crashed ship? ] Where did you find these?

Alright, give it a shot. Just don't expect an apology if things go wrong.

It takes some maneuvering but at last Sorey determines the easiest way to do this is to hook his hands under Eizen's arms and use the water currents around them to push them both along.
...it's gonna take forever if he does this the cautious way, so let's just pull a bit on this connection to Mikleo and REALLY get this currents moving to the point where Sorey is more clinging to Eizen's coat to make sure they don't get separated as they go careening through the water like a couple of torpedoes.]

It's surprising, incredibly surprising, enough to draw a rather un-pirate like yelp from his lips the moments Sorey kicks it up. Water rushing past his head, causing his eyes widen with what almost looks like fear. ]
─Sorey!
[ He prays to which ever of the Five Lord could hear him that he doesn't slip from his coat and go plummeting into the abyss, hanging uselessly in Sorey's grip.
Don't you dare drop him Shepherd. ]

Heh heh- sorry! Sorry, I expected you to be heavier. [Y'know, like an actual rock.] But look, it's just past that ridge! [Lets Eizen go before he gets smacked tbh]
