A - Network

This is Signy Mallory.

[ Alone, adrift without the Norway and her officers at her back. Signy can’t say whether this is a Union plot or somewhat else, and she isn’t willing to commit yet as to which would be worse. ]

I’m looking for a report. Where am I and who’s to blame for this relocation?

What are the active threats?

B - Shipside

[One can take a Captain away from her ship, but that doesn’t make Mallory any less alert. This being a civilian — if that’s really the right way to describe it — outfit also doesn’t serve to make her feel relaxed. There’s no discipline, no ship standards. Signy is certain that this is no way to live and she has no desire to die this way.

Which is why she’s marching through the ship corridors. She looks thirty-six, other than the silver gray of her hair. ]

Evacuation drill, twenty minutes.

[ At least she’s warning people, this first time. The fact that she doesn’t really have the authority for drills isn’t stopping her, since people with the authority don’t seem to be using it to help everyone prepare. ]

C - Oceanside

[ Signy isn’t completely opposed to having a drink and a good time, but this isn’t an environment that she things she can relax in. So instead her patrol of the area can’t be seen as anything else.

If she spots someone getting a little drunk and recognizes them as part of the fleet she won’t hesitate to approach. ]

I think it might be time for you to come back to the ship.

[ She has an attitude of authority that she doesn’t hesitate to try to use to be listened to. ]
