Sunday Frienday

Have you been looking for some new CR? Want an excuse to friend someone on plurk? Have a cool idea for a thing in the game but aren't sure whether or not anyone would be interested? Just want to find another character who likes making snide remarks about cute little chickens painted on rustic terra-cotta pottery? NOW IS THE TIME.
THE PROCESS IS SIMPLE:
1. Leave a comment! You may find the form below helpful in this regard.
2. Respond to other people! This step is very important otherwise the meme does not work.
3. DISCUSS, BEFRIEND, LAUGH, BRAINSTORM, LIVE YOUR DREAMS, and basically profit.
4. YOU ARE NEVER TOO LATE TO COMMENT. Folks who get it on it early, please be sure to check back so you don't miss anyone!
Here have a form (feel free to edit/modify/ignore as desired):

Friend me:
I like: Reading, video games, animation - honestly I will try just about any canon once. It takes me forever to get through TV series, though.
Notes: I'm on GMT, but online most evenings. I'm a lttile more sparse on Saturday, when I tend to go out and be sociable.
Anthony Crowley
What they are like: Communications officer on the Goldstone winner of the Worst Demon Ever award. He's the Serpent of Eden (yeah, really) and likes to think he makes his way through life tempting people and/or generally ruining their days. Despite this, his efforts usually fall into the "harmless pranks" spectrum than anything actually harmful. Seriously, he's a really shit demon. He's lazy and snarky, and pretty much does whatever he can to avoid exerting any kind of effort for anything. He has an absolute heart of gold, but he will never, ever admit it, and if people show any gratitude to him, he pretends he did nothing nice at all. He regularly puts stupid, pointless games up on the network, which are HERE. He also uses his comms augment to listen to everyone's private conversations on the network- so if you like that, that's a thing!
Looking for: Crowley will get along with most people. He really loves humanity a lot so if your character is human: bonus points! But that doesn't mean he won't talk to anyone else. He so will. At great length. He loves theology talk, if you get him on that subject he'll talk your ear off. He's a CRAU with about 6 years in Paradisa beforehand under his belt. He also owns a bar! Málum, which is across from Space Bar on the Iskaulit. It has an info page HERE. If your character wants a job please let me know, he'll happily employ anyone. It's ALWAYS open as a setting for your character to be hanging in.

Sokka
What they are like: Captain and engineer on the Blue Fish The sarcasm and meat guy. Sokka likes hunting in new planets, inventing stupid things, and generally snooping about trying to learn what he can about Atroma. He has plans to overthrow them one day, and get everyone either home or into a world they can be happy and safe in. He thinks big. He's also doing what he can to be a good captain to his crew. He's in that awkward stage of just coming out of teenagerdom into adulthood, trying to be a good person while still kind of being an ass sometimes.
Looking for: Sokka gets on well with fellow nerds, and people who think outside the box like him (read: kinda crazy). He ALSO gets along with the opposite of that, people who are very straight minded - he needs these sorts of people to stop him being...too much of him. Go hunting with him or build something ridiculous with him and he'll love you forever. Also, if you feed him, you'll be literally the best person in the universe to him. He;s currently working on trying to get a forge set up on the Iskaulit with Maglor- trying to figure a way to get it to work without burning everything down -he'll probably have a post about it this month so keep an eye out if that's something your character is into.

The warrior princess here would be all over that and totally willing to apprentice under puny humans if it meant she could learn how to forge stuff!
Plus she's fireproof and crazy durable, so hey, look at all the money they could save on safety gear!
(she'd also be super down for a hunting partner and when I can get around to putting up a top level for her on this month's mingle, that's definitely gonna be a thing that's in there)

(Awww yeeeee, let me know what you do I will absolutely tag that!)

Fenris
What they are like: First mate and security officer on the Tourist Fenris is a super broody elf, who spends a lot of time alone and really hates being touched. He's a former slave, suffering from amnesia. The markings on his skin are made of lyrium, which is a magical, toxic mineral, making him basically a living weapon. Anyone with magical ability would be able to feel the markings-a sensation a bit like biting on metal. He's a CRAU from Exsilium, so he knows a surprising amount about advanced technology and can get quite a few Earth references. He's pretty abrasive to most people, especially when he first meets them.
Looking for: omeone with the patience to deal with him for long periods. Fenris is a slow boil kind of CR, and no one will be besties with him overnight. It takes a loooong time for him to get any kind of trust and comfort around a person- but once they gain it he is fiercely loyal. He's been learning to read, and is honestly pretty good at it now, but if your character is close to him and wants to be around to give him a hand once in a while, that would be great. He also works in the Space Bar so you will likely see him there a lot.
If your character wields magic, expect him to be SUPER SKETCHY of them for a which time. And if they're in any way a spirit or a demon, he will flat out refuse to let them anywhere near him (and won't hesitate to threaten them). That said, he's trying to learn to deal with his 60000 anger issues, so I welcome any potential CR helping him if they want to go near that can of worms.
Basically, he's a lot of hard work and sucks at social interaction, but will pretty much die for you once you gain his friendship.
