Have you been looking for some new CR? Want an excuse to friend someone on plurk? Have a cool idea for a thing in the game but aren't sure whether or not anyone would be interested? Just want to find another character who likes making snide remarks about cute little chickens painted on rustic terra-cotta pottery? NOW IS THE TIME.

I like: Cats, making things (jewelry/crafty things), Critical Role (and other G&S/Alpha things), most Rooster Teeth stuff, videogames (Legend of Zelda, Halo, Destiny, Overwatch, Borderlands, Minecraft, Heroes of the Storm to name a few), D&D (I pretty much DM and only played a character once), comics, cute things, vampires, still have a soft spot for Doctor Who...

Notes: EST, and I'm pretty available except when I have work. Tagging times at the very present moment are when good brain days happen/afternoonish times or maybe at night (really, once I have work again, things'll even out.) Time of day tagging really depends. I will backtag to the very end of time, and I understand if you don't like that kind of thing and will take no offense if you drop a thread. As far as on my plurk, I mainly talk about Critical Role stuff as that's very much my life right now, as well as other random things. I TRY not to do much politics on there but I tag everything. Um what else... I don't bite? I like a LOT more things than I could possibly even list in that section up there. But yeah!

Character: Percival Fredrickstein Von Musel Klossowski de Rolo III (or just Percy~)
Ship/Augment: Red Fish/Security
What they are like: Percy's the kind of guy who has been through a LOT of shit in the past few years and hasn't sat down to really...deal with his National Geographic levels of issues. He's a brilliant inventor/engineer/tinkerer, has a dark side and very much does not believe in gods despite meeting one. He can say beautiful and clever things, but deep down, he's pretty fucked up and the way he acts and thinks only scratch the surface of that. And yet he's a very loyal friend but don't betray the trust he gave you; you will regret it. He has no qualms about taking actions, and his judgement didn't exactly come with him from Exandria or Witchy Willows...

Looking for: I don't mind any kind of CR. Positive/neutral/negative, it doesn't matter. He wants to learn more about this world and have more practical experience with the things he knows about now (namely the weapons as they very much seem to be several iterations away from what he first designed back home). It will take a LOT to get him to open up about specifics of his past, less so when it comes to things back home. He needs distractions, both good and bad as he's still getting used to things.

Notes: Knowing how many people are getting into Critical Role now, I'm trying very hard to be vague about his canon point and what he knows, etc, especially if people are only just starting with the second campaign characters. I really don't want to spoil people; experiencing things in CR is best while watching the show itself, not from me. I have this permissions post to help me keep a better track of who wants to know what. <3

I sort of want to basically throw every character I have at Percy, lol.

both Felix and Sayid are really similar character types to Percy! They're both very smart but sort of reserved, both mechanically inclined, both have like. fucked up pasts. and dark sides. (I kind of feel like since they're so similar, I should maybe pick and choose....but at least Sayid's interactions would be slightly different from Felix's because he's got more of his shit handled whereas...Felix also has National Geographic level issues and has not dealt with any of them for shit.) Unfortunately neither of them are engineer augment which hampers them a little on that front but Sayid is modern-day and techy and Felix is from space and techy, so they could both be resources there.

otoh! Alucard is a magic-user who is incredibly charming and social. He was also raised in privilege (although he's...had his rough spots......) so they have that in common!

(also for the record, i have now dipped my toes into Vox Machina and damn it taliesin, why are you so good at creating characters I was born to love.)

Percival...you are going to remind him of people that he knows. And that is more than enough for me to want to throw Sandalio at him. He's not likely to push hard to have him open up about things but he will like talking to him about the things that interest Percy.
