What they are like: 22 yr old leader of a galaxy famous singing group, Walkure, whose (mot magical!) singing cures space rabies. They also go on covert infiltration missions. There are also giant robots. Kaname's a big sister figure who watches out for others. She's pretty easy to get along with and doesn't easily balk at the strange.
Looking for: Definitely some new faces! I'm actually interested in a little negative CR for her, if that's something anyone wants. Also I want her to end up teaching a class? She and Freyja have dancing/singing practice every day, so people are welcome to join them or see her separately to work something out! She's the Inquisitor of her world so she's used to having a position of power that she wasn't entirely fond of but does her best for her people.

Looking for: Romantically, she's currently a tragic mess wrapped up in some budding romance with a man who's not entirely sure how romance works, so that's already sorted out for her. Otherwise, she could do with any new friends, anyone who wants to get to know her better, who'd like to help a one-armed woman learn to fight with one hand! What they are like: Aang is his world's major religious figure, and at the moment, he looks like he's twelve when he's technically 114 (having only been conscious for 14 years). At heart, he's a goofy, compassionate kid who loves helping others and can be a bit of a show off. He's social and he wants to make friends, and he'll do things like give you face paint and help you float and make cool firefly effects for your entertainment.

That said, he's a CRAU fresh from the Hunger Games, and he's convinced that he hasn't actually left his original game. This is making him very jumpy and paranoid, and people insisting that this isn't really an arena aren't helping because it's confusing him and making him wonder if it's a Capitol trick.

So while his gooey goofy and fun center is still there, it's now under a layer of fear and confusion that will need to be eased off with time and care.

Looking for: Right now, what Aang really needs are people who can make him comfortable. People who will make him laugh and encourage his goofier side while respecting his need to control the physical proximity between them are ideal. People who can redirect his nerves by directing him to productive work are also welcome.

He also needs help making a space where he doesn't feel like he has to be on high alert 100% of the time. He won't be using his room because it feels too easy for someone to corner him in there, so he will need help finding a way to make a space where he's comfortable enough to retreat to and rest in the Fleet.

He's also going to be hoarding so much food and medical supplies. He will be more comfortable with people close to his own age, and with animals, so those are also welcome.

Once she gets started on a cause, she won't stop, she also can burst into lectures/inspirational speeches when she believes they are justified, so be warned about that. She's a waterbender, and it's really important to her; she practices daily, she can also heal with her bending and has spent time in Luceti as an apprentice to Trafalgar Law... and a bunch of other stuff. Drafts. Actual school. Soda. Teenaging. Life was weird. Be warned, she might ask you 8000 questions about your life.
Looking for: She's brand new to the fleet, so she wants to hear all about what her brother has been up to, and learn all the things. She definitely wants someone to teach her out to fly those shuttles, and to practice with the medical equipment on the ships - she'll be looking to continue to learn more about that. She's also going to want to find people to practice/spar with. I'm seriously interested in ALL the things, from goofy shenanigans to super serious conversations/situations.

What they are like: She's from the darkest timeline or at least one of the darker ones. She's had a hard life at home and she's got CRAU of being played for almost 7 years at MarinaNova though it was a 1:7 game. She feels like time was distorted there but she hasn't aged physically to reflect having 9 years of game time total. She cares deeply about people, but can also be very sarcastic and tough on people. She can come with a lot of push and pull depending on who she's interacting with and what's going on. Generally she's on a trend toward being nicer and more overtly concerned and caring (but also still very playful and casually dark?) What is this description even?
Looking for: Anything. I love playing Kitty and just throwing her at people and seeing what happens. If you'd like more plotting than that I'll definitely be bad at it, but I can always try!
Notes: My tagging speed is very feast or famine. I will have a few days of insatiable play where if you were boomeranging you would see that I was too. Then I tend to drop off and time accumulates until I'm in the SHAME ZONE! I will always crawl my way back out of it. He's from the planet Daxam and hadn't been on Earth terribly long before going into the fleet. (Like 8 episodes and he was in a coma for 2 of them.) He's also trying to be more heroic for Kara's sake. Sometimes he lies really badly.
Looking for: All of the things though people he's a little deeper and more genuine with would be good, but that's more on him than you.

What they are like: Winner of the Worst Demon Ever award. He's the Serpent of Eden (yeah, really) and likes to think he makes his way through life tempting people and/or generally ruining their days. Despite this, his efforts usually fall into the "harmless pranks" spectrum than anything actually harmful. Seriously, he's a really shit demon. He's lazy and snarky, and pretty much does whatever he can to avoid exerting any kind of effort for anything - which is ironic given he can bend reality to his will, you guys basically have a godmode who won't get up off his comfy chair if he can help it. He has an absolute heart of gold, but he will never, ever admit it, and if people show any gratitude to him, he pretends he did nothing nice at all. He regularly puts stupid, pointless games up on the network, which are HERE. He also uses his comms augment to listen to everyone's private conversations on the network- so if you like that, that's a thing!
Looking for: Crowley will get along with most people. He really loves humanity a lot so if your character is human: bonus points! But that doesn't mean he won't talk to anyone else. He so will. At great length. He loves theology talk, if you get him on that subject he'll talk your ear off. He's a CRAU with about 6 years in Paradisa beforehand under his belt. He'll happily flirt with anyone, but he's rather attached to Felix, so don't expect anything to go further than that.

What they are like: Grumpy but well-intentioned? Kinda broken? Slightly awkward space genius? (Semi-genius?) Felix has...snark for days but he's not a BAD GUY. In fact, he's a pretty good guy who got stuck in a very grimdark world where most of humanity died at the hands of robots they created. And man, that's the beginning of the show. He's very smart, ex-military, and does have a squishy interior buried somewhere under a bunch of layers of FUCK PRECISELY ALL OF THIS and some trust issues.
Looking for:
- He still needs friends. He's definitely not unfriendly, but he does use sarcasm like it's going out of style, and tends to hold people at a comfortable distance for a while. So! People who are persistent in wanting to make friends. Scientists/science types. Space-going types. Sarcastic types. He has seemed to develop a certain weakness towards smart, curious, friendly children.
- He's making strides in not being as xenophobic as the end of his canon caused him to be, but he's not 100% there yet, and that's something I'd like to advance. Kind of ties into the above, because it's more likely to be effective when he's forced to question himself by someone he feels an attachment to. So! Kind of looking for people with powers/non-baseline humans/non-humans who are decent who will put up with but also push him to...uh...have less knee-jerk reactions to difference. (look the xenophobia is a little bit earned. he's working on it. promise.) Alternately, people who are completely baseline but will call him on this shit too.
- Negative CR is good too! Felix is, as mentioned, kind of sarcastic, and vocal about when people piss him off. He has a very distinct moral core and has strong beliefs about what he thinks is right. And also...that xenophobia. I'm not really looking for anything super aggressive, but I'm not against a little bit of conflict. (I'll also mention that usually his reaction to people he doesn't like very quickly turns into him trying to ignore and avoid them as much as he can, so sustained negative interactions can be tough unless he feels like he needs to be up in their face for The Right Thing reasons)

Princess Looma Red Wind | Ben 10 Omniverse

What they are like: An absolute disaster She's a heavily spoiled, very impulsive nightmare of a brawler and only recently out of those awkward teenage years where you run around threatening to annihilate everyone for even the most minor perceived slight against you. So that's a thing. She does at least make some sort of effort to play well with others though, after time spent in previous games, but it's safe to assume she doesn't actually like most people.

She will aggressively mama bear after her own crew though, and anyone she actually does like, and despite her usual assumption that people should just Do As She Says, it's actually more likely she'll side with the smaller, weaker types if she sees anyone throwing their weight around in a way she doesn't deem appropriate to the situation.

She is also a hopeless romantic once she's smitten though and it is seriously debatable whether she's more dangerous to the galaxy in love or...well, literally any other time. Sokka's trying to doom you all.

Looking for: Anything. Any CR is good CR, even if it means Looma wants to strangle the life out of someone- something which, thankfully, happens much less often these days.

What they are like: Percy's the kind of guy who has been through a LOT of shit in the past few years and hasn't sat down to really...deal with his National Geographic levels of issues. He's a brilliant inventor/engineer/tinkerer, has a dark side and very much does not believe in gods despite meeting one. He can say beautiful and clever things, but deep down, he's pretty fucked up and the way he acts and thinks only scratch the surface of that. And yet he's a very loyal friend but don't betray the trust he gave you; you will regret it. He has no qualms about taking actions, and his judgement didn't exactly come with him from Exandria or Witchy Willows...

Looking for: I don't mind any kind of CR. Positive/neutral/negative, it doesn't matter. He wants to learn more about this world and have more practical experience with the things he knows about now (namely the weapons as they very much seem to be several iterations away from what he first designed back home). It will take a LOT to get him to open up about specifics of his past, less so when it comes to things back home. He needs distractions, both good and bad as he's still getting used to things.

Notes: Knowing how many people are getting into Critical Role now, I'm trying very hard to be vague about his canon point and what he knows, etc, especially if people are only just starting with the second campaign characters. I really don't want to spoil people; experiencing things in CR is best while watching the show itself, not from me. What they are like: A Real Han Solo Type. Okay, really, he's a scoundrel with a heart of gold but at present he's a little light on the heart of gold part because he is only just starting to get sucked into the Great Skywalker Drama Factory, and he's still selfish and really hoping to get paid. (Spoiler: he will not get paid.) He's Extremely Skeptical about everything.
Looking for: SHENANIGANS. Really, I'm up for just about anything-- friends, enemies, frenemies, rivalries, weirdness, etc. I'd love someone to plant the idea in his head to play stuff up for ratings, and he's 1000% up for doing all sorts of crazy stuff-- he just doesn't have any concept of reality television. Someone teach him how it works so he can hideously game the system.

What they are like: Chuuya is a 22-yrs-old, 160cm tall, extra af, badass mfer who is a big dork at the same time. He is the mom friend of his friends in his world tbh. He has an ability that allows him to manipulate gravity, and was known as a martial arts prodigy in his world. He mostly fights with his legs, however, if ever he decides not to use his ability. He always wears a hat, one in particular especially, and gloves too. He's always down to have a glass of wine, or have a good fight.
Looking for: FRIENDS?!?! He seems to attract people who like to rile him up... not that that's.... hard to do. But you know, that's a thing, haha. I'm open to anything tbh!

What they are like: Generally good-humored with an undercurrent of self-hate and bitterness. He likes solving his emotions with drinking and working, but more the latter than the former. Right now he's bummed out, but generally he's easy going. Until he's not. And then he's a sourpuss who can lash out with words.

Looking for: All kinds of CR honestly! Some of his really important CR has dropped in the last couple months so he needs more friends to balance out, especially magic friends. He might also be looking for a friends with benefits type in a couple months if your character's into pretty but bony/long men. All that said, if you want negative CR, he's a pretty good candidate because he can be pretty thorny in some cases.

Notes: Anders has been dealing with depression things recently, though it's lessening, it's always a thing with him, so if you'd rather not play with that please feel free to let me know! I don't tend to go too deeply into it unless it's the focus of the thread or it's close CR he'd let see him like that, so it generally shouldn't be a problem.

Character: Bucky Barnes (Panem!AU and The Games CRAU)
Ship/Augment: Communications; Wonderduck

What they are like: Very down to business most of the time and generally serious. He doesn't wear his emotions much unless he's comfortable with the person. Right now, he doesn't trust almost anyone, so he's fairly stand-offish, but he has a good PR face since he had to deal with some diplomacy and politics in District 13.

Looking for: Everything right now, he's brand new (and has an intro post here) but generally, he needs to build his network back up. He needs info friends who can do plot things with him and friend-friends he can actually end up trusting and people who he rubs the wrong way because he can sometimes see the people around him as tools instead of people until he starts 'seeing' them. IT's conditioning, Panem is fun.

Notes: I'd really like for him to get into plot things, it's his happy place, so if anyone could help him with that, that'd be awesome. Otherwise, come be a hacker/soldier/farmer with him!

Not sure how much Anders likes children (or young teenagers in preteen bodies, as the case may be), but Aang can be a new magic friend for Anders. He has a lot of experience dealing with depression, especially depression inspired by losing someone you care about to jamjar stuff. Aang might show up just to observe another medical officer in action and see what he does, and if he picks up on how unhappy Anders is, he might try making him an origami cat to cheer him up.

As for Bucky, Aang is probably going to want to spend time with him because he's the only one so far Aang's met who knows about the Capitol and everything that happened there. I don't know if Aang would actually trust him, because that depends on whether or not he can be convinced that the Capitol really doesn't have anything to do with this, but he'd still be attracted to spending time with someone who gets what he's been through and doesn't give him the pity eyes when he mentions it. (He may, at some point when he's more comfortable, put stickers on Bucky. Just to encourage him to not take himself so seriously all the time.)

As for Justice and Anders, we've already talked about them. Justice is going to be hovering, because not only is he clingy for his own reasons, but he also wants to be supportive of Anders right now. He'll encourage Anders to keep eating and discourage him from drinking to the point of excess, but he's basically winging it and keeping Wolfe's advice in mind and trying to help him through his depression with love and distraction.

I'd like Justice and Bucky to meet, but I don't know how well they'd click under normal circumstances. Bucky leans very morally gray for Justice's tastes, and I doubt Bucky would appreciate Justice's judgment. They could probably have some interesting negative CR, though.

What they are like: [application.] Quiet, shy, neurotic, introverted, depressed, suspicious, a bit unstable, with a great deal of empathy and a lot of kindness. Interested in astronomy, music, cooking, sewing, and not destroying the world. He's been part of the Fleet for over two years now(!), having seen people come and go and come and go, so he's constantly paranoid that he'll be the next to disappear. It's made him pretty hesitant to forge connections with new people, but he's very warm and loyal once he opens up a little bit. At the same time, he's actually comfortable here and grateful to be away from his fucked up home world. Formerly he was an Evangelion pilot, which is a fancy word for traumatized child soldier.
Looking for: Unhelpfully, I'm looking for any sort of CR whatsoever. His ratings are never stable stable because he needs to meet more people; he's still afraid of being "sent home." People around Shinji's age (mid-teens) who can be his friend. Older people who can also be his friend. People who can be good influences/mentors and help him realize adults aren't all out to hurt him. People who can be pseudo-family figures--especially father figures, yikes. I'd like to get him interested in photography and other random hobbies. He's got a few years of sewing experience to his name, so he could make something for someone. Anyone who wants to give him therapy is much appreciated, too. Negative CR is also pretty great, since he can be whiny, off-putting, and sarcastic in certain situations. Also, he has fully manifested as an "Angel," which is an alien being with immense power--he's still learning how to control that power. Quirky situations could arise from that.
Notes: I prefer writing in present tense, but that isn't set in stone. Shinji is also here with two people from his canon--Kaworu Nagisa and Asuka Shikinami Langley. He's very protective of both of them.

No but seriously, Beat is a good kid at heart, but he's dumber than a box of rocks with the rocks taken out and prefers action to thinking. He'll be loyal until the very end, but he doesn't always consider the consequences of his actions before he straight up punches the End Boss in the face when he's still Level 1. He's also very dead, but strangely okay with that (mostly).
Looking for: FRIENDS. People who can put up with how dumb he is, kids his own age, adults who can make sure he doesn't punch the End Boss in the face. People he can connect with and eventually someone he can confide it because despite his sunny exterior, the kid is dead and there's a headtrip reason behind it.

What they are like: Haggar is a shrewd woman, manipulator of fancy life magic, literally over 10k years old, with a tendency to be avoidant, closed-off and a bit of a control-freak. She's not used to friendliness from others, not used to the idea of a vacation, and not used to having to introduce herself, either. This change in circumstances has put her at a disadvantage, especially with the augment messing with her. But it's okay, she's also dealing with her past memories and personality starting to come alive in her head, which will strangely help more with the adjustment process.

Looking for: Making CR! Hello, hi, I'm new! I recommend hitting up my permissions, at the very least in regard to the passive things, but most other things listed there are situational and may not even come up depending on how her development goes.

HONESTLY she's mostly just paranoid/suspicious and too smart to start any trouble. Getting slammed with some of these augment-nerfs is going to be a doozy for her anyway, which could possibly be noticeable. If people are nice to her she can figure out that she has to be "nice" back. Allies are useful to have. She likes studying things and figuring things out and finding advantages in them, so there's that too.

Huge ego propped up by decaying balsa wood.
Looking for: Honestly, CR of any sort since over the past several months, I haven't been keeping up with the game the way I'd like to. Teenagers she can mentor and/or befriend, people closer to her real age that she can bond-or-not-quite with. Asuka's used to being underestimated, so anyone she could prove wrong (or right) in that regard would be great, too. Negative CR is good, too, since she's overly defensive and can go past petty and get frothingly hard to deal with when the right buttons are pushed.
