Mark Temple | Red vs. Blue | M/M, M/nb for shipping, OTA for gen
[So, it seems, he has been abducted to star in an outer space reality show. Temple is not sure whether that is better or worse than Project Freelancer. Probably better because it seems to be less deadly buuut... he still really wishes that people would stop using him for their own ends like this.]
[He was tired of it years ago, the first time it happened, and this second time, he has less than zero fucks to give.]
[Sighing, he says:]
Why am I always chosen for this kind of stuff?
[Two times isn’t always but Temple has a tendency towards the melodramatic.]
B
[When Temple is transported over to his assigned ship, he immediately makes for the chocolate dessert cream. Spending lots of time in his underwater lair and in jail has made him very glad for stuff to eat that isn’t fish.]
[And chocolate is, well... chocolate, and Temple has never met anyone who could resist chocolate.]
[So, Temple is hogging the chocolate dessert cream as much as he can, eating it like a starving man.]
C
[Temple’s sponsor has gave him a ton of fish. And he is not happy about that. Not happy at all.]
[Yes, he wanted food but fish, really? Why did he always get so much fish?]
[So, he asks you:]
Is it possible to return a sponsor drop and get something else? Or to trade sponsor drops with someone else?
[He sighs.]
Because I really don’t want all this fish.
Wildcard
[For other things.]
b
[Minako smiled.]
We only get that after getting a new ship assignment.

Bucky Barnes || MCU || Drift Fleet CRAU
[ The first thing that happens is the audio clicking on, the sound of a communicator topping off a surface, quickly followed by a low string of Russian curses. A short moment passes before the communicator is picked back up and switches to video. A very familiar face shows up, especially since there are already two of him present, and he looks pissed. At least it's at his circumstances and not anyone in particular? ]
Can't a guy just tend some goats in goddamn peace? Guess the saying's right- no rest for the wicked.
[ He clears his throat, glancing at his surroundings. ] I need some things cleared up, starting with the most important-- Who the hell's got my ship? Second, how long was I fucking gone, and where the fuck are we?
B;; Big Game Hunting
[ Finding a job on a planet like B'lire was easy enough, especially when proficiency in hunting was a thing. It had taken hours, but finally, he managed to get a damn good shot in and take down a huge...deer. Or something like one, anyway. Gun slung over his shoulder, he can be found dragging his kill through the woods and toward town. Care to help him out or at least distract him from his task? ]

And she can't bring herself to reply. Not over the network. She needs to see him in person.
If it's not real, she needs to know. On the other hand, if it is...
It takes a little work to find out what ship he's on, but not that much. She doesn't as permission before coming on board to find him. Her foot steps are deliberate; she wants him to hear her coming.]

He shuts off the broadcast for a few long moments, gathering his thoughts, trying to calm down his emotions. No need to ping Natasha; this was a public broadcast. It sounded like Winter, had the same confidence and stability in his tone. And a little time back home would explain the different hair (and he'd gone to Wakanda after all, hadn't he? That was what he'd suspected from the beginning. They have goats in Wakanda), and he wouldn't be asking about a ship if he hadn't been to the Fleet before.
But it wouldn't be the first time he'd got his hopes up, only to have them dashed.
So it's a few minutes before, completely in control of himself and his tone once more, the Vision sends a response.]

Actually, upon seeing the broadcast, the first thing he does is contact Captain Barnes, worried that he'd somehow been sent home. Or that, maybe, the other one had instead. It's only after he's confident that both are still here that he ponders what the Atroma are trying to do here. Three Bucky Barnes'? But this one seems to have been here before. Which means...maybe...
He sends an incoming transmission to the newcomer, looking pretty confused.]

Then another stalker appeared, skilled at his craft and knowledgeable of his prey. He watched the hunter fell the beast with ease and make to cart back his kill. Not native, this one, but one of the Fleet. His face was shared by two others. Such an odd place, this Fleet.
He dropped to the path ahead, not hiding his movements. He could erect a biotic shield if the need arose, but he would prefer not to fight this one.]
A fine kill. I find I know too little of these creatures to hunt them. Perhaps there's something to learn from you.

Katie Holt aka Pidge Gunderson || Voltron: Legendary Defender
Pidge wasn't quite sure exactly what was going on, but she was going to roll with things as best as she could. So she's going to wander around and see what she can. She wasn't sure if anyone she knew would be on here, but she could wait to find out. For now, her curiosity was getting the better of her and she wanted to find out what level of technology the ship had.
She also wanted to see just how far into the systems she could get into. She'd deal with the consequences later.
Network broadcast
Hello!
[Pidge waves a bit as her image pops up on screen.]
Any other members of the Voltron Coalition somewhere on these ships? And can you tell me what in the world is exactly going on? I'm sure I could find the information out, but I'd rather hear from my friends first.
Video
Hey, Pidge.
Alisaie Leveilleur || Final Fantasy XIV
It took the young mageling long enough to find the lodge. She didn't mind the walk through the woods. It reminded her a bit of the Twelveswood in Gradania. She had done a lot of traveling in recent months, but as of late she had to stay still to heal. So far everything seemed to be just fine with her, but she wasn't exactly sure how she had suddenly been healed. As far as she knew, there were no white mages or other kinds of healers in this place.
Once inside she started wandering around to see the different creatures that were on display. They certainly weren't like the beasts or beastmen that she had encountered before.
"Interesting..."
Fleetwide Broadcast
This is quite a strange situation I find myself in. I'm afraid I'm not exactly sure what is going on here or exactly where here is.
This...ship almost seems something that the Garleans could make, but its nothing like any that I've ever seen before.
[There's a pause as she tries to think about what's going on.]
Has anyone seen another that looks just like me? It wouldn't surprise me if my dear brother was brought here as well.
o7! Let me know if you'd like any of this change.
Alphinaud was here once, but he left quite awhile ago. As for the ships, they aren't Garlean, but the ones piloting them are just as friendly.

[ this was routine. it felt good to sink back into routine. arrive at a new planet, scope out the area. gather data on the culture and populace. and while discovery was no longer here, michael was still a starfleet officer. she was not going to neglect her duty simply because there was no command structure. she was more professional than that. as such, she's speaking to the locals, her brow furrowed. ]
I'm sorry. Please repeat that. Did you say that there is a monster called Slim Jim?
[ really. really. her skepticism is palpable. ]
( ii. fishing )
[ vulcan is a desert planet. there were sparse places with dry woods and red pines, but nothing with lakes or waterfalls. as such, fishing was not an activity michael ever pursued. she's not even sure why she is pursuing it now, but somehow, one of the locals pushed it into her hands with a gentle smile, saying that michael looked like someone who could use the quiet.
perhaps she is not wrong, but michael shakes her head with a faint fond smile. ]
Is this working for anyone?

IDK I'M GONNA KEEP GOING, LOL
laura howlett | logan
[ Laura does not fear the dark the same way others might. Her enhanced senses allow her to move quickly and quietly through the forest, intent on stalking one of the huge, furry bipeds that the locals insist is real. So far, this quest has garnered her a couple of rabbits and a deer for her ship, and a handful of smaller animals and birds for the locals.
It is nice and quiet in the pre-dawn hours, except that it seems someone else is also moving around in the area. Laura looks for the nearest tree or underbrush to use as cover, then peers out to see who the other person might be. ]
Shopping
[ She still has trouble with remembering to pay for things before she walks off with them. Some of the adults in the fleet are kind enough to remind her, some are less mannerly. A few remind her of Logan. She's standing in front of a stall selling bags made out of leather, and there is one almost her size. And maybe she's just too excited to hand over a few credits, because as soon as the strap is settled across her shoulders, the little brunette is walking away. ]
Broadcast

Why is Bigfoot hunted?
Wildcard

Natasha sees Laura, but at first she doesn't interfere. Keeping an eye is enough.
Up until the stall keeper starts shouting. That's when she steps in, carefully putting herself between the kid and the local. Even if Natasha is wrong, she'd just as soon not see a girl grilled for shoplifting.]

Shalimar Fox || Mutant X
Very uneasy actually. She shifted the weight of her body from one foot to the other as she looked over the trophies and then folded her arms across her chest.
"Don't suppose it's occurred to anyone that they don't want to be found?" she muttered aloud with a particular emphasis on the word want.
B: Undersewers
The outdoors definitely felt more comfortable to Shalimar than the ship she'd previously been stuck on. A lot of really weird things had happened in her life but the reality show ship definitely took the cake by a long shot. Oddly enough she found herself welcoming the planet of cryptid legends. At least it meant getting to explore and exploring was exactly what she was doing.
Eventually her enhanced senses picked up on something that sounded almost like a moan. Inquisitively she followed the sound to the entrance to some sort of underground area. She stopped just outside of it and for a second her eyes changed to glow yellow like a cat.
"You might as well just come out, I already know someone's there."

A - Broadcast - Video
Okay, I know what they say about why we're here, but if I find out that this is Billy or Wanda fucking around with Chaos Magic to make life more exciting again... Can we please stop with the Maximoff Magic Bullshit for once?
[The guy on screen shakes his head. Maybe he does? Does it so fast that he blurs a little on the edges.]
Anyway, these ships are too small, heard there is a way down planet-side. Someone tell me how. My legs need some real space to stretch.
B - B'lire Courier Service Go!
[There are some distinct advantages to being able to fun at super speeds, and a number of downsides. Downside: Tommy really wasn't big on forests and wilderness, too much to trip over if he doesn't notice things fast enough. So really, exploring the planet turned out to be less than amazing. Upside: at last he's got a useful skill. Which at this point involves running around, far short of his proper speeds because the need for frictionless fabric is SO real, but he runs around with everything and anything. Messages, purchases, supplies?
Was there something you wanted delivered? Something you were expecting? Chances are it's Tommy showing up at your side in a gust of wind, looking put upon mostly because he likes looking put upon.]
C - Wildcard

[One could probably forgive her for sounding defensive about being called out like that, especially since it's not uncommon for people at home to be afraid of her for things she can't even do.
Also that is definitely not a familiar accent.]

llyana Rasputin (Magik) || New Mutants
Ya know in the grand scheme of my life adventures, this is pretty mundane. Boring. Someone already beat you to this entire idea and if he found out he would sue. Spineless people always take the route to sue. [ She chuckles very softly. Nobody will ever convince her that was not an amazing joke. Even if someone explained that the entire joke rests on knowing who or what a Mojo is, Illyana will remain convinced it was in fact an amazing joke. She's not good with humor most of the time. You try spending your entire childhood in a hell dimension and see how good you are at being funny. Or socializing in general. ]
So tell me now, do you all just play along? Wait to see what our captors will have of us for entertainment? [ The answer is probably yes. She expects no better from most anyway. ] I for one will do no such thing. I do not like being taken from my domain. And Limbo will freeze over before I am used by anyone ever again.
B - Fishing
63. That was the number of attempts Illyana had made to use her stepping discs to return to Limbo today. Just today. That did not factor in attempts she had made on the ship on previous days. Each attempt had ended the exact same way: failure. Failure was not something Illyana would let go of. She did not fail at things, no matter what the cost. No matter how many attempts it took, she would find someway out of this situation. Time was on her side with this though. It always was.
Patience was a virtue after all and she could be very patient. That thought was what brought her out here to this small lake holding with a fishing pole in one hand and a bucket in the other. Her patience had allowed her to defeat the Elder Gods in Limbo and this was nothing compared to that monumental undertaking. She could wait. In the meantime perhaps some amount of relaxation could be good for her. That sounded like something Sam would say.Relax some 'Yana, it'll do us all good. She could almost hear his thick southern accent in her head.
"No. There is nothing served by becoming emotional here," she said aloud to herself as she cast the fishing line out. Nothing of value came from lingering on the past. Lost in thought Illyana didn't notice as something nudged at her line. In a split second the line jerked violently and then she found herself falling face first into the water. A few choice words in Russian came out of the blonde's mouth as she let go of the rod.
"Maybe there is something to these cryptid stories."
Fishing
"Such language." She means the Russian, not the English, which she would never need the augment to translate for her. "Need a hand?"
There's no recognition in Kitty's eyes as she looks down at the blond, but she has met her before—the version from her world. She rescued a much younger version of Illyana from a work camp in the Seattle Core. She lost all of her students in the process and in every important way she also lost her husband. It wasn't one of her better days. But there weren't a lot of good days back home and she hasn't been there for years. Three years in the fleet and who knows how long before that in an underwater prison that captured her first.
Time was strange there. She thought it was just under a year, but now she thinks it was longer. She hasn't always aged much in these places so she looks like she's in her early 20s. Her brown hair doesn't quite fall to her shoulders and she's in casual wear today—jeans and a t-shirt she managed to find on one of the planets the visited, but she still has the two silver gauntlets resting on her forearms, containing three claws each—retracted at the moment so they just look like very over-the-top bracelets or ineffective body armor.

Christopher Pike | Star Trek: Discovery
[There's few things more routine then a man sitting down with a fishing pole and a probably questionable beverage (that he was assurred by a local was juice) of local origin. If he added a horse, more desert around all the greenery and got rid of the questionable part of the beverage Chris would almost admit it was like a moment out of his childhood. Almost. Except for the talk of Lake Rexs and Cow-Lickers and who knows what all else.
But it's about as relaxing and routine as it was going get, periodically reeling in his line with the occasional scowl at his catch.]
If I hadn't seen fish on a plate, I would start to think there's no fish to be found.
2. Lodge
[If there's one lesson in all his years in space that Christopher Pike has learned it's that stories generally have some basis in fact. Even the ones that sound outlandish, unreal and overall fake or are entirely based on faith alone. He's also learned to not say out loud if he thinks something is off or totally wrong, at least not near locals less he face a mob or something similar.
But even he can't keep quiet when he has a piece of evidence in his hands, courtesy of a local cryptid hunter boasting of his find, and he's finding bits of it all sewn together.
So he really can't be blamed for muttering under his breath.]
Is it in bad taste to ask him where he learned to sew?

Selina Kyle | Gotham | OTA
[ Selina likes precisely one thing about this place, and that is the view. She can be found pressed up against the window, more often than not, but only if you look carefully. She's somehow managed to climb up the sheer walls and wedge herself up at the very top, a dark shadow in a corner that you'll miss if you're not careful. ]
B. - The underground city.
[ Finally, the sort of place Selina understands. The tech is different, of course, far more highly advanced, but cities have their own rhythm. This one has been designed beautifully, with a care for detail that has not been eroded by grime, despite the fact that they are quite literally under ground.
Selina won't mind running easy and well-paid errands up and down the surface. She also doesn't mind making her money and gaining information in a more covert way, and quickly brushing by someone and picking their pocket is an easy thing to do - she's good at it, too. It'd take a maser thief, or a set of extremely unlucky incidents, for her to get caught. ]

Ser Brienne of Tarth | Game of Thrones
[Regardless of the augment providing valuable skills and information, Brienne was unsettled by what time she spent on the space ships. The trip down to the planet in a much smaller vessel was no better, but the planet itself was a welcome retreat. There were still advancements in this world she found surprising and foreign, but they were not so great in number or scale. There might have been patches of electricity in more densely populated sections, but much was still done by candlelight. Things were built of wood and stone instead of cold steel walls she couldn't imagine even the greatest smith in the seven kingdoms forging.
Of course she is clad in that same sort of metal. She feels undressed exploring the planet in anything but the silver armor she arrived in. Although she appreciates the functionality of the jumpsuits available on the ships. They are much less fussy than most dresses she's had occasion to wear.
She looks over the stuffed beasts of this land on display. Many are familiar though some are more surprising than others. Although nothing is so concerning as a dragon or wight. It's become harder to surprise her in the last few weeks although outer space managed it.
After leaving the lodge you might find her seeking a smith to replace her sword, occupying a single seat in a tavern for a meal, or exploring the area.]
[Ship]
[She's been transferred to a ship. Maybe your ship or maybe you're just visiting, but you will get to see a very tall, armored woman looking skeptically at her surroundings and her gift of pudding before shaking confetti out of her pale hair.]
(OOC: Playing with show canon, season 8 in a vague span of time between the last two episodes. Let me know if you want me to avoid spoilers.)
