TEXT MESSAGES MEME



There's something inherently funny about Drift Fleet characters--technologically savvy or otherwise--being able to text each other. That gets even funnier when you can see their witty, zany, or incoherent conversations as if they were actually laid out on a smartphone personal communicator screen.

Now's your chance to show us your favorite text conversations as nature intended! Here's how you play:

1. Find a text convo from somewhere in the Drift Fleet. They can be conversations that've happened over the network in the game, or you can pull from your IC inbox or any other logs you've got hidden away.
2. Use the Fake iPhone Text Generator to recreate your conversation. You can also use any other text generator you like better--maybe there's one out there for AIM convos or emails or something else hilarious.
3. When you're done creating your masterpiece, post the image(s) in a comment here! You may also want to provide context if that helps (for example: knowing that the above convo happened as the character's ship suddenly took off and rocketed vertically into space makes it a lot funnier).
4. Sit back and enjoy scrolling through the hilarious things that other people have posted.

But Stick, I don't have any text conversations to pick from! Well then, this is the perfect excuse to start some! Hit up the IC inboxes of CR you've always wanted to text, make a text-based network post, or heck, start something in the game-wide mingle to make your dreams come true. Then come back and show us your convos when you've got them! You can also post public convos from other characters you've seen that are funny (but maybe ask for permission before pulling from anyone's personal IC inbox; better polite than sorry, you know?).
