Hello Drift Fleet! My name’s Ax, and I’m a new player to the game that Maggie pretty much dragged in because that’s how she rolls. I definitely recognize more than a few faces too, so hello! I’m excited to be here and looking forward to playing with you all.

I’m going to be playing Nomi Sunrider from from the 1990s comic series Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi, a part of the old Expanded Universe, set 4000 years before the events of the original trilogy. Nomi is a Jedi , and in her time she’s the head of the entire Jedi Order. She’s something of a messiah figure within Jedi history, despite holding an extremely different philosophy than the movie era Jedi, embracing not only love but emotions as well. She’s an extremely kind, loving person with a bit of an impish streak, though her troublemaking daughter might not think so. Oh, yeah, also she has a kid: Vima.

Unfortunately, Nomi’s comic series had several different artists, none of which could agree on an appearance for Nomi except that she had red hair, so in the interest of uniformity I’ve taken to using a PB. Also, I’ve got a Permissions page in her journal for her Force Powers if you’d be so inclined to have a look. If you need to reach me, I’m on Plurk @ AxiomaticGrue or on AIM at Tuldawen. Sadly, in addition to consistent art, TotJ lacks snazzy gifs, so just imagine there’s something funny there or that you read this all in the Star Wars opening crawl with a John Williams soundtrack or something.

I couldn't resist so I apped myself a Leto Atreides the II, God Emperor of Dune, the Lion of the Atreides, the storm that cannot be stopped (thanks frank herbert)! Who is also a CRAU from a memory loss game called Aather. (because we love those).

To explain Dune is . . . well, to be really high and pretentious. To sum it up, it's Game of Thrones. In Space! With Crazy Powers! And Leto is the heir of one such crazy family. He has a lot of god-modey powers such as seeing the future, being hard as rock etc etc so if you want to opt in to shenanigans where he makes your character cry a lot, here you go
